Rule violated:
Clause 2 - Mining World

• Using any means (including water and fire/lava) to grief any protected area in the mining world (which can include protected warps and the main Mining World spawn) is not allowed.
• Legacy/Rising rules apply to all areas of the mining world, including trolling rules.
  • As the mining world is not PvP enabled, this includes rules about attempts to kill players in this world, no matter what the reason.
• Please keep in mind that the mining world does not allow LWC locks, and therefore anything you leave in chests in that world is free for all.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

This rule means that under any circumstances, it is illegal to try to kill a player in a place where pop is not enabled as this is abuse.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned:

Before I explain, please bear me mercy as I'm a bit angry at the moment to be honest. Sorry if things in this appeal don't sound as they were intended. Well, here we go. I know that this will be quite possible a quick appeal as there was both a mistake on my half, and on @miniCLH 's half. Not to put any blame, but let me explain what happened, as I kind of feel wronged here, let's be real.

So, I was bored and was wandering around shops when I decided to tp to mini to see what was up, no particular reason. I tp'd and talked for a few minutes and then I used /kit pyro to make some fire, so I could see (we were in mining world, underground). I started kind of derping placing fire all around on the ground and I accidentally set mini on fire. As soon as I did, they teleported away to prevent death. I then pm'd, saying "Are you okay? I'm so sorry, let me give you some food to regen." They then jokes around saying it was okay, then like an hour later I got banned, real fair, right?

Now hang on, let me explain what I did wrong in this. I was foolishly using pyro without being concerned that mini could have caught on fire. I assumed the user had pyro+ as they are a big donator, and that was a foolish move on my part. My absolute condolences @miniCLH for not thinking about these consequences of my actions, I will be very careful about this from now on.

If you still believe this was on purpose, let me prove you wrong real quickly:
-I believed the user would not die
-Since when will a user not just tp away...
-It's a mod, if I did that I would certainly get banned.
-What valuables would I want that they had, all that they had was a pick and some diamond armour

So, unless my iq has suddenly declined to 72.4, I do believe these reasons justify my grave seriousness that I
didn't actually mean to kill the player. But I agree that I should be more careful, as this is the second time that this has happened. I will be more careful, but I believe that maybe it would have been better if mini would have told me that I was going to be banned instead of telling me it was perfectly fine and that all was good, as that was quite misleading.

I will make this conscious effort if I am unbanned, however until then I will look for the rule I broke and post it. My apologies mini, but if you could please respond to this thread as I believe, not to offend, that you may have made a bit of a mistake actually thinking that I wanted to kill you. If I can't be reaccepted onto the server again, it's just as well but it would be nice to see you guys some more. Thanks for your time in reading this, and I hope you can see this from my point of view- I feel as if there is a communication breakdown, and perhaps mini can explain to me what happened on their end.
