  • Advertising is strictly prohibited in our chat system for any kind of external product, Minecraft server, or anything else non-EcoCityCraft related.
    • External products may be mentioned, so long as they are not being advertised. Other Minecraft servers may not be mentioned under any circumstance.
  • Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades, store advertisements, or personal livestreams that are completely and only EcoCityCraft related) must go into our Trade Channel, and must always abide by our trade channel rules for length and repetition.

Clause 1 - Griefing

  • Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you.
    • Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request
      • If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town.
  • When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback.
  • Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: It means that you shouldn't grief other people's things. You also shouldn't advertise things that aren't EcoCityCraft related.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I think I should be unbanned because I feel that I have matured and am ready to not break the rules of the server. I really regret advertising and griefing in the town of Concordia. While I've been off ECC, I've come to realize how stupid it was of me to break the rules because I knew them, but I still broke them. I'm very sincerely sorry for what I have done. I promise that I'll read and re-read the rules multiple times before I get on the server day to day. I'll ask questions if I don't understand what one of the rules means. Once again, I'm very sincerely sorry for what I have done. I promise that I'll never, ever do anything like what I did again.
