    Minecraft Username: TheMightyGinger

Have you changed your Minecraft username since being banned? If so, what is your previous name?: No, I have not changed it.

Which of ECC's services are you banned on? [Main Server/Teamspeak/Shoutbox - delete as appropriate]: Main Server (Economy)

    Reason of Ban: Moderate Grief.

    Rule violated: Grief.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Grief is when you break other peoples property and or dismantle buildings.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I feel that I should be unbanned because the grief happened in the begging days of when i started playing the server so I didn't know that this kind of offence was considered grief knowing that chest were allowed to be broken into. Since I could break into chest, I assumed that breaking blocks wouldn't be an act of such offense. I am not saying the rules weren't clear, but for a recently joined minecrafter, I simply wanted to play with my friends and have fun not thinking that there were any limitations.

Hey TheMightyGinger, glad to see you want to appeal. However, after digging into this a little bit I am going to deny this appeal for lack of effort. You appeal based on a claim of lack of knowledge of the rules as being new, but first of all you are a resident and have thus agreed that you know the rules already and second of all you were griefing with the intent of taking items from any chests you found to be unlocked. Re appeal with more effort and I will have another look.

    Denied.
