[Ban Appeal]

Hi Mineo,
Before we can come to consider your appeal I'd like ask you to clear some of my concerns that I've come to notice just after glancing at your reasoning in which you feel you should be unbanned.

Just short of 7 days ago, you posted and successfully appealed your ban for harassment. That appeal can be found here. The rather appalling factor behind this all, is the case that this is all regarding the same issue.

Your exact words from that previous appeal being;

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: Firstly i want to Say that i was Angry at the Time that was why i was Harrasing but that does Not Give me the Right to Harras anybody in any Form.
I am Very Very Sorry for Harrasing i Regret Harrasing The People i harrased but i Understand why i was Banned because its the rules Breaking the rules Leads to a Ban if the rule gets Broken Continuously.
I am So so Sorry i really wish i had not Harrased as i enjoy playing Ecc. once Again i am Very Sorry for Harrasing People i Will Never Do it again i promise. My actions were Very Rude and i should have thought about it Before I started Harrasing People. once more Again. I really am So Sorry.

All in all, it seemed practically apparent from that previous reasoning that you were more than ready to return. Mainly because you acknowledged the fact that you did something wrong. Moreover, you admitted to your fault and allegedly agreed to not do it again.

Here we are again just short of a week, and you're found shockingly in the same spot you were at that time period. I genuinely don't know what to think about that.

Now as for this appeal, your exact words being;

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: This is my 2nd Ban on this Reason Now This will be My Final Final Apology i am So Sorry for Harrasing again now Let me Go ahead and quote a line from @7amoodw "It's evident that our warnings were not taking seriously by this user. After discussing with other staff members, and reviewing the player's history and the evidence provided in this complaint, the user is to be banned for harassing other users." Yes i have Noticed that Myself Thanks for pointing that out but the amount of Warning i got were Fair i really should have Thought it out Before Saying anything its just that i Get so mad when people like Double Teaming me in sg and To be honest i should not be getting mad over Such Game i mean its only a game and the People i harrased really dont Deserve to be Harrased and i am Really Sorry i Really Mean it. This shall be My Last ever Appeal i will not Make another i have infact Read the rules by now after i post this Appeal. As i mayor i know Very Well not to Break the Rules.
Why did i Harras? Well because i got so Angry and Upset. But that just does not give me the right to Harras others i have Really Put my mind into Thinking it really is not the right thing to do. In Situations Like this i should have stopped and Just /ignored the user who i did not Like , However my Actions were Poor and i understand why i got Banned. Once again i am Really Sorry For Harrasing The People i harrased. its Really Disappointing that i Harrassed i should have just Stopped and thought it out Before. I am so Very Sorry This shall Never ever happen Again and i will Show that to you.. i am really very sorry for Harrassing

I went ahead and highlighted the similarities that I found in both appeals.

You practically summed up what took place, and then proceeded to say the same exact thing you said in your previous appeal. Seemingly, that makes me think when you say that this will never happen again and that you're truly sorry about it all, you in fact don't mean a single bit of it. If you were truly sorry, you would have made it a priority to avoid all of this. Simply stated, you wouldn't have continued to harass the user.

I honestly don't know where this all came from? You've always been such a kind person to talk to in game and you've always acted in such a respectable manner. As for the time period in which I've been here, I've only seen positive from you just up until these past few weeks.

So I ask, have you really learned from these past few bans? How can you prove to us that this truly will be your last appeal for an issue similar to this? How can we take your word? I know you have it in you, just make it apparent for us.

 

I'd just like to say that I like @mineosaurus2000 he is a good guy a little abrasives at times but all in all a good person. That being said I would also like to add that mineo has had a very frustrating couple of weeks he broke his eff7 only a few weeks after getting it and still owes over 1 million ecd for it. He has been struggling to sg and pay off his loan. I have also observed people "flaming" mineo almost even bullying him (sorry no evidence at this time) harassment is unacceptable no matter what but to kick a guy when he's down over and over again he's gonna bite back eventually. now I dont know exactly what this ban is for so I can't defend this particular offense. I'd hate to see mineo get Perma banned due to his frustrations. mineo you do need to learn when to just stop talking sometimes that's for sure but I don't believe he deserves to be banned for too long. and mineo when someone says that they don't appreciate what your saying just drop it let it go and move on with life because I won't stand up for you on this matter again and I'm sure no one else will either. Just my two cents sorry if it's irrelevant.

I agree 100% @matrix__rep. This behavior must stop immediately no more chances or excuses @mineosaurus2000 and I'm the first to admit that I need to take this advice sometimes myself /ignore is a very useful and FREE tool. If someone makes you angry logout go for a walk come home and go mine or however you deal with it just keep it to yourself.

 

Look, we have all had things bad happen to us, it's the way we come back from it,by harassing players and we all know this involves me, is still an offence, you don't just walk up to a stranger and harass them and this is what happened with me and mineo, I basically have no clue of what he is harassing me / bullying me or even hating on me for. I have tried to allow him to forum pm me with the issue due to me multiple times ignoring him in game but he still continues with this.

Overall, yes they has been 2 ban appeals however I am pretty sure i still have screenshots of him saying sorry in game and promising not to do it again, but then still continue and that's why we're in this situation right now, this is not the first time mineo has said what emong highlighted in blue and sorry but to me it means nothing. I am not willing to believe people can change after hours of being banned after having multiple chances to stop before I even made the complaint. I did not expect this to make such a big issue, but mineo, you know me by now, I just want this sorted and I just want to know the full reasoning behind why you choose to harass me the most and why you always blame me at the end of you harassing me when I've practically said nothing to you.

However i do understand his harassment that he has done on players is not just me.
I am still willing to discuss in a forum pm.

I will only say this once: there are to be no further posts, except from staff or by the request of staff, on this appeal.

 

Since this is your second offense for this reason, I'll be tagging in the appropriate staff to handle this. Please be patient and think about what @emongolab stated previously.

Thanks for appealing.

Seeing as you've had some time to think about it, and are remorseful of your actions I will be reducing your ban to a temp. Furthermore, I will be starting a forum conversation with you regarding your actions and how you can best approach similar scenarios down the line. As this is your second offense for harassment, I will be reducing your ban to a 1 week temp. During the extent of your ban, I'd also like to see you review the server rules which can be found here. Other than all that, I look forward to seeing you in game sometime soon.
