Username: xxminecraftxx48 perma banned Why you were banned: Banned for attempted scam When you were banned:3/29/2015 okay so about one month ago I sold my computer to a local shop as it had a virus and was very slow and come to find out they had a key logger and all my passwords were changed over 500 $ in my bank account was spent. So any ways during this my minecraft account was changed and I could not recover for about a month due to not having a pc. So I went to my minecraft and went to log on to your server and have a great time and it had said I was banned. for attempted scamming. I don't understand how you scam a minecraft server ? but I really hope you lift the ban so I can enjoy the server as it is one of the best out there. Clause 2.2 - Attempted Scamming Users cannot attempt to scam other users. If enough evidence is provided and the staff believe a scam was intended, this will result in a temporary ban against the offending user. Attempted scamming includes misleading sales or auctions. For example an auction for 'a melon,sword'.
Hello there @xxminecraftxx48 First off, your account is your responsibility, if someone compromises it, gets on the server and breaks our rules the account is punished, regardless of who actually owns the account. Considering I was present during your online time with us I watched as you attempted to auction an eff7 in the Auction chat, an eff7 which you do not have, you weren't even pretending to joke about it, you also proceeded to accept bids further proving your intentions. Per our rules you need to have the item in your inventory while you run the auction, no exceptions. Considering you are denying the fact you did attempt to auction a very valuable item that you did not have as well as lack of effort or even remorse I will be denying this appeal. We take Attempted Scamming very seriously and the actions in which you were banned for fall under this category. I hope you can be more honest in your next appeal and can tell us exactly why what you did was wrong, as well as what you will do to better yourself, should we let you back on the server.
