Minecraft Username: Raccooy Reason of Ban: Harassment Rule violated: Clause 3 - Harassment Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play. Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based. This includes, but is not limited to; blackmail, bullying or any other form of harassment that occurs through our chat system. Attempting to kill other players in any non-PvP zone also constitutes as harassment, and succeeding in killing other players in non-PvP areas is a very severe offence that will result in a ban. Harassment is absolutely inexcusable on EcoCityCraft. If you are engaging in this behavior expect to be removed from the server with little to no warning. Disrespecting staff falls under this rule - They are players too. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: This means no user ever deserves to be harassed for any reason, this includes in this case when I got frustrated and said some things that I should not have said. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: Over the past few weeks I've been quite angry with a few users for reasons I will not go into detail here in my appeal. I found their actions and harassment of me to be quite frustrating and I regrettably began behaving in the same fashion. I have decided to hold my tongue and try to be the mature one in all conversations from this point forward. I've learned that there are unfortunately a few people in life that would like nothing better than to see me (and anyone else) react to them just so they can get a rise out of it. No more! I promise if I return to ECC I will not harass anyone ever again. I will instead take the high road and either respond politely or just not at all, as I should have done in this case. My goal is to have no complaints on me ever again. As a show of good faith I would like to apologize to @iTzXtremeGaming for my rude behavior, hopefully we can put this incident behind us and we can get along again...
Raccooy, I'm glad to see you're interested in rejoining the community. First off I'd like to thank you for going in depth with your appeal. You seem to know what you've done and how it was completely un-called for. You've been warned a countless amount of times for your constant harassment and slandering towards other users not only in chat but on the forums as well. You must learn that when you are warned we're not suggesting; we're instructing for you to drop what ever you're doing and to avoid doing it again. In your case, you persisted to such a level putting yourself in this position. Most often, if you don't harass other users they won't harass you. You've posted complaints of others harassing you, and we've dealt with them to the best of our ability. We've issued appropriate punishments, and you're aware of this so I don't want you to feel as if we're solely focussing on you. As for the complaint that was just recently posted on you, there was an excessive amount of collected evidence proving that even after all those countless warnings, you've continued to do so and act in such a manner to conduct yourself with this harassment. As for your ban, I'm not going to let you off the hook so easily on this one just because of your extensive history of warnings. Seeing as you put a good amount of effort into writing a thoughtful reason on why you feel you should be unbanned, I will be reducing your ban to a 1 day temp. I really hope you will honor your words upon your return, because I can assure you if this happens again it will not be treated/handled with such leniency again.
