Minecraft Username: TrooperKaloski Reason User was Banned?: I was banned for breaking 4 blocks in a town. I cant even remember the name of the town, but I think Diamond City? Also advertising on the forums. Rules Violated: Clause 1 - Griefing Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you. Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town. When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. Any user who is consistently not using the correct channel, especially in a way that may disturb those attempting to use certain channels, may be removed from the channel and/or punished. Clause 1.2 - Advertising Advertising is strictly prohibited in our chat system for any kind of external product, Minecraft server, or anything else non-EcoCityCraft related. External products may be mentioned, so long as they are not being advertised. Other Minecraft servers may not be mentioned under any circumstance. Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades, store advertisements, or personal livestreams that are completely and only EcoCityCraft related) must go into our Trade Channel, and must always abide by our trade channel rules for length and repetition. What these rules mean in your won words?: The greifing rule means that you shouldn't break or destroy something that does not belong to you. Also because a lot of people may spend time making something and when you destroy that's just like wasting that persons time . The advertising rule means that you shouldn't be just coming on here to tell people about your things that you have and how its better than the servers. Why should you be unbanned ?: Honestly I have been banned for like 5 or 7 months. That is a long time to be off the server and also im note even that way anymore I just really just wanna play with my friends. I feel like I have had a long time to read all of the rules and take ime off of the server. Please let me back in
Hey trooper. Just to give you some insight on to your ban, since again it was only 4 blocks, it was because you were given a warning. I remember it because it was my first grief request (http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/grief-report.105898/#post-552366). I'm glad to see you wish to appeal because I remember one of your friends telling me you were very sad that you were banned.
