Minecraft username: The_Genetix Reason of ban: Advertising another server and “rage quitting" Rule violated: Advertising, and excessive whining Please explain in your own words what this means: Do not chat/discuss/advertise other servers. Do not complain in the chat box. Reason why you think you should be unbanned: It has been approximately 1.5 years since I was banned, and I do regret my actions. I was upset and wanted to get myself banned so I advertised another server. At first other players thought I was joking becauuse i was a donator but when they saw I was spamming advertisements for that server, I was banned immediately. I have been a player on ECC since ~mid2011 and I want to get back into ECC. You might have seen my post in the General Discussion Thread where I talked about “Why I stopped playing on ECC." At first I was complaining but I came to realize the server had changed a lot since I was banned and much of what I wanted ECC to do to improve has been done. I wish to rejoin the community and I will not let this happen again.
Thank you for appealing @the_genetix. Advertising is very bad for the playerbase as it draws players away from our server. I hope to never see this happen again. As it has been quite some time since your ban, I will be unbanning you. I strongly suggest reading the server rules as a lot has changed. Hope to see you on the server soon! the_genetix unbanned.
