Minecraft Username: Imabankthing Reason of Ban: "use of hack client" Rule violated: "use of hack client" Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: I have just read the rules on hacking again (previously read all rules when I joined). I am aware what hacking is and that hacks are not allowed on ecc. No clients that would allow a user to gain an unfair advantage are allowed Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: Because I do not have any hack clients installed on my computer, I have only ever downloaded minecraft itself on this computer I don't even have a texture pack! @Physicistsmom I do not deny that I on occasion have been able to see chests (they almost glow) after using the /wild land command. As the map around is loading you can sometimes locate chests. Right before I got banned this actually happened when I done /wild land and spawned right at a house which had a chest outside buried under 2 blocks of dirt, I could see the chest, No hacks, No mods involved at all. I lost over 50k in tools today going after a chest that appeared about 20 blocks below me, While I seen the chest I did not see the lava that was around it. I should add that this has only been happening to me since after the server was down, Prior to that I had never seen it. I am more than willing to allow you or another staff member access to my account if need be to resolve this situation. I do not want my reputation on here ruined by false claims of hacking.
I have had a look through my screenshots to see if I could find any examples of what I am trying to describe to you here. The only picture I have that comes close is the one below. You will notice the entire area has not loaded up yet to the right of my screen I can see a chest that appears to be in the open but is in fact within a building which has not yet loaded. [Mod Edit]

@Physicistsmom No I did not file any bug report and have no idea how I would go about fixing the issue? I'm not sure whether this is actually a bug, Given that this same thing has happened twice while playing on a different server during the course of this ban. I would also (with your permission) like to submit further images (this time from Ecocitycraft) which I believe fully support what I have described to you in my original appeal. These images are screenshots of the "bug", glitch or what ever else you may want to call it which have been shared with me by the co owner of my town.
I feel this is this is relevant as this has happened to me in the past. This excact thing happens to me on ECC and other servers. All it is, is that when I am lagging or have just recently tp'ed somewhere, I can see a chest or two, or lava, or even an underground cave. I believe this is not ECC's fault. Just a common form of lag. Hope this helped ~DeMacca
This is most likely just the fact the chunks were not loading and that's why your able to see them. I notice it happens a lot on laggy or slow servers. Edit* just wanted to add it also is because of your internet not getting info from the server so the blocks don't appear.
@ Demacca Thanks for your input, Lag would certainly make sense given that I often have to break the same block multiple times before it vanishes I am used to lagging when I come up against American or French players of a popular fps game I used to play 24/7 before discovering the wonderful world of minecraft with my daughters This is the main reason you will never find me playing pvp (the lag)
