Delete if irrelivant but After looking at this a similar thing happened to me. I bought a house on payment plan in foix and was apparently evicted from the house but the house was re sold without me being told at all or being provided with any form of eviction notice so I can see how you made the mistake of changing ur house after being "evicted" without being told about it I think that unless the owners of foix can provide proof of evicting u from ur house before u made changes it is within your rights to change a house you owned at the time. Thats just my point of view on this and since something similar happened to me i figured commenting was fine but again mods delete if irrelevant.
Hello, As the representative for Foix nation, I will be explaining, this incident. In our town rules, it clearly states that although you may 'own' the house, you may not change any exterior/interior that has been built prior to you buying it. Breaking anything you built is OK, and if that was the case then, this will be classed as a miscommunication, You're also allowed to place Chests; Furnaces; Enderchests; Crafting tables. etc. I'm sure, Kevinwelch got collected evidence from the Head of Foix nation that the areas you greifed were built before you moved in. I shall also personally be investigating this 'eviction' incident. (As I am one of the owners) To see if I can sort something out for you
As the owner of Foix Nation, I have spoken to Kevinwelch2001, who filed this grief report and he told me the following; (I will try to be short in my explanation) He told me you bought that house from him on a payment plan, didn't pay, got evicted because of it and griefed it a week later to take revenge on the new owner of the house. In your case, you didn't make any payments for over 5 months, and still owed a well 50-60K of the 65-70K deal. So I would say the eviction was fair. What wasn't fair was you griefing and troll locking to take revenge on the new owner, the same way as Xr4V3 now did according to Kevinwelch2001. Im tagging @kevinwelch2001 so he can see this, and maybe he has something to add.
I would like to add to the griefed a week later it was between a week to a week and a half, and Also I think this could have been solved without griefing or complaining to mods, i could have paid you your money back, Give you one of the houses i own(that are well valued over the house you got on a payment plan from me), Or we could have settled through other ways that are acceptable. Also I think for being 25 years old, What you did was not that mature (maybe you were angry at the time and you were not thinking straight) I think for being 25 you could have handled this much better, And the last thing i leave is a screenshot of your Private message on the forums to me. Yeah, that was a bit unfortunate at the time. Since it wasn't sold to you by me, and no-one had lived there, paid down the house or been there for half a year, I thought it was empty, so when I got a pm from someone wanted to buy it for 120K, I did the deal. Then I found a locked door and had to officially evict you to get the lwc removed. To add to what has already been said, it doesn't look like XR4V just wanted to "Modify" the house. It was a pretty much a total demolition, he broke almost everything except lwc which weren't his. The once nice modern house only got floor and some of the roof left, and if he gets unbanned we would appreciate if he built the house back up again. (Unless he is the actual owner of the house, which is something I can't prove or disprove, only Kevinwelch2001)
@apple_pro I received no eviction notice, I didn't get refunded my money (that's the big one) and was not informed of any rules around foix. Yes, I was planning to do a COMPLETE rework of the house. In quartz and other materials. I didn't like the sandstone. It's incompetence on Kevins part and I'd happily take my money back (which I paid in full) be unbanned and fix the mistake. However, (with the exclusion of some choice words) your man kevin over there didn't exactly give me a chance to right my wrongs nor did he right his. Until this ban is lifted and we both do what is right I see kevin as a scammer. Not only that I wasn't gone any longer than 3 days and even that's a long shot. So shove it Kevins a liar. I put 5k down +2k moments before the "griev\fing" and had no time limit to pay it off as stated by any contract and as I see it, since I still have not gotten my money back I was the main holder of that house. @kevinwelch2001 Yeah, if you can't tell I'm a little more than angry at the mess you've caused. If you were even 1% competent, you would have had my permissions removed in the town and prevented the whole mess in the first place. You don't have a moral highground here. You simply have a process that mandates all staff members be as dumb and blind as possible.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW WHAT MY FEELINGS WERE OR WHAT I WAS THINKING? You can't unless you're me... and if I was mad and wanted to grief trust me I would have griefed EVERYTHING... That town wouldn't be standing and a rollback would have been necessary. Dude, I told you what my thinking process was exactly here in this thread. I've been playing here on eco for 2.5 years and have donated over $300 without a single ban. If you think I'd start now or get mad over something so stupid you're only playing yourself and playing anyone you want to convince. You can give me my money back, the mods can unban me and I can fix the problem. Only way this can be fair... simple as that.
Just want to point out that Kevin is not one of the town owner/co-owners, he is just a resident of Foix, just like you, and I would like to find a solution with you in-game if you and Kevin don't work this out yourselves, and it turns out he wrongfully took back that house.
You never notified me in game at all about any problem you simply griefed the house. if you were to ask me for a refund i would have been more than happy to refund and also give you another house for free, Also you stopped paying your payment sign on the house off for a week+, When i received the message from drowning that you were angry about the house(the first thing i heard from you since you bought the house) I was more than happy to to refund and even give you more however when drowning wanted to see the house i tpd there it was totally griefed. Also nowhere have i claimed to have the "moral High Ground". And for the last part on fairness, Life is not fair at all sometimes you have to just deal with it. If you chose not to just "modify"(grief) the house and talk to me you could be on your way with your money back and another house. It kinda seems like your holding the house as ransom to the fact that you will fix the house that you griefed but i have to pay you first, However i Have a list here that will tell you How we could resolve this. Here is my deal(can't happen until i come back from my trip) 1. I round up 10k to refund to you 2.you rebuild the house to the exact way it was before 3.You Apologize for each insult and insulting statement against me, you Apologize for Griefing the house before talking to me instead or none of this happens 4. You can have your unban. I think the above list is more than fair.
@kevinwelch2001 He is banned for grief in the town, he is not banned for anything else. You have no right to make demands on this appeal, nor does it affect the appeal process in any way. If there is any agreement that needs to be honored then it needs to be handled via a complaint outside this appeal. This is no ban for breaching an agreement. I do believe this was a miscommunication between the seller and buyer. Naturally when you buy something you own it outright and it is natural to think you can make any changes you deem fit. This holds true for bought properly irl, I can see the mindset connection there. If he meant to grief maliciously I'm sure the damage would have been much more widespread. @apple_pro @OlympiansAreGods Yes they do say that, I went flying around foixnortheast myself looking for said rules, I did not find them easily, I only found them because on a whim I tried /warp foix, knowing the towns are bound together as a nation and did indeed find the rules. I'm not going to get into how you guys run property sales, you guys have your town rules and how its run. I would make sure everyone selling property in the town makes a point to make the new tenant aware of the rules. It should be required, so miscommunication like this does not happen. @XR4V3N0USXD3M0N I will be unbanning you, since it looks like there was a miscommunication and I don't believe you meant it maliciously. I also understand your anger and frustration in the shoutbox but would like to mention that handling things in a calm manner will always go further. These things can take time to look into.
