Minecraft Username: turtwig2014 Reason of Ban: Banned for scamming Rule violated: Scamming. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Well, scamming is making someone pay for, or work for, some money or item you never give them. It's pretty trolly. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: Really? I'm very sorry @LuciePevensie for your 4k, but you lost my eff4 axe. Not my fault. I don't feel this is a righteous ban and @emongolab discussed this with me. I'd be willing to pay back the 4k, it's just spare change. But then I'd be down 5k because Lucie stole my axe. Or lost it, I don't know, but I'm willing to pay 5k for an unban, regardless. My sincerest apologies go out and everyone please don't post on my thread. Thanks!
Here's the rule I broke: (I owe 4k, allegedly, to lucie) Clause 2 - Scamming A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe. Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion.
Hi...I'm turtwig's brother. I'm really sorry mods if this is a unnecessary post and ill remove it if it is one but i will pay for a new axe or for the 5k or however much to help turtwig2014 with his ban...i just really miss him on Ecocitycraft...is it legal for me to pay someone else's debt for them?
Hi turtwig, Thank you for showing interest in once again rejoining the community. Glancing at your answer to the last question, I'm utterly appalled. Just a few hours ago, both yourself and I went over the importance of honesty. What has changed since? I'm a bit confused, as the story seems to be changing each time you're asked to explain. Correct me if I'm wrong, although in our conversation, we discussed at length what had taken place. You initially began by describing how Lucie borrowed your axe - which happened to be worth 5k - to build a house for you. Your exact words just a few moments after that sentence being; "She lost it, so I charged her for a new one. Unreasonable? No. Cruel slightly to a builder? Maybe.." I get where you're coming from when you say this, but I feel you didn't put it in to perspective and look at the big picture. Perhaps Lucie was telling the truth when she had said she didn't have the axe. I even went so far as to asking you in game, if she ever said that she had lost the axe or had broken it by mistake and you yourself said no. Did it not ring a bell in your mind to simply ask what had happened before jumping to the assumption that the user had scammed you of an axe, being worth 5k? That being said, I was made to believe one of two things. Either you genuinely were unaware of the fact that you did not actually give the user your axe, or the more unfortunate case being attempting to scam the user. I really truly deep down hope that you were just unaware of where you had placed your axe, and not actually attempting to scam this user. Trust me, if you had intentions to scam I'd recommend completely ridding yourself of those desires because I can assure you upon your return if this persists it will not be handled nearly as lenient as this. Glancing at this screenshot; Spoiler Lucie sent you a message saying that she didn't take your axe. You responded moments later saying exactly, "Yeah, turns out you didn't." Moving on to this screenshot which was taken just a few minutes after the previous; Spoiler She asked for her money, in which she paid you for the axe that you owned and still had possession of ? Oh boy isn't that a bit shocking. Why should she have to ask? Shouldn't you just re-pay her the money she sent you since you found this so called 'lost' axe? Now on to what you had discussed with Lucie. As I'm sure you recall, she mentioned she was a new user. In no way was it necessary for you to tell her that since this was a hardcore economy server, she needs to stop crying about things. Personally, just trying to think of where that came from is mind boggling. It puts things on a whole new level. Imagine logging in to a new server, and within a day a more experienced user who is attempting to make an agreement with you turns out to be nothing more than a discouraging failed player. Will that honestly make you want to stay? As for your belief of your false ban, all I can say is think about it. Once you put it in to the big picture, it doesn't seem too unfair after all does it? I'll be completely honest with you. I don't like liars, quite possibly because they don't get far. Regardless, I know you're better than this. So please prove it to me. Turtwig, don't look at this in a negative way. I discuss all this because I know your character. I know you have it in you to be an amazing user. You've been with us for nearly almost a full year now. You've shown your devotion, and your great interest in our community. Don't let something as simple as this be the downfall of your path.
