All I received was a link to this video. Other then that, I am not entirely sure.​

I’d like to start this off with an apology to the community. The stuff everyone has had to endure and go through is nothing like I have ever seen before. People have been hurt and I am deeply sorry.

I will begin with the video, which I believe is the main reason why I am currently banned. I am just going to come outright and say it… I DID know that Obble was recording a video and I DID know that Obble was quitting. This was all that I knew. Obble was upset and so was I. This video was recorded the night before everything went down. That night, he had messaged me that he needed some help. He told me that he was going to be recording a quitting video but before he did, he needed two things. One of those things was that he needed a book and quill. I went back to one of my towns and got him his book. I did not ask what for. It was at this point that I was being called irl for something but before I left, I went afk in that corner because he had asked me to pose for it (which was the second thing that he needed). I came back about 5-10 minutes later but at this point, the video was done recording and the damage had been already be done. I began to read some of the signs but I did not see anything wrong with it, as there was nothing that was exceedingly inappropriate and no vulgar claims were made, only names mentioned. He was upset at a few users and so he wanted to make a statement. I had read about half of the signs but I was called once again both in-game and irl and so I left. I had absolutely zero knowledge that at this point that he had already burned Matrix_rep’s eff7. It was of my knowledge that he was recording this now because he was bored and he had told me that he would simply be releasing this video at a later date after he had paid out all investors. He told me a few weeks ago that he was going to be quitting and so he was not going to be loaning out any more cash. I asked why and his reasoning was so that he could collect all investor’s cash and pay them back before he left. To me, this made good sense and was a good excuse and so I believed him.

Now, some people may read this and think, “omg he knew about the video and was part of VoE, he must be a scammer as well!” That is completely false. While again yes, I did know of the video and did know he was quitting…. I did NOT know that he was going to be scamming 10million and burning matrix’s eff7. This is just as shocking to me as it is to the public. As stated above, I truly believed that before he went out, he was going to pay back his investors. I am not a scammer, never have been, and never will be. Talk to anyone…. I have paid out all profit to my investors and I’ve even had 2 investors successfully withdraw. While obble and I worked together under the same VoE name, we were still separate. I had my own personal list of loans/investors that I controlled and he has his own list of loans/investors. VoE as a whole was a legitimate business up until the last few weeks in which Obble decided to venture off on his own and leave us in the dark. I personally still upheld my contracts/agreements to all my investors and will continue to do so. The sole reason I play on this server is for the business aspect of it. I do not farm, I do not build, I do not play SG… I am a businessman. This whole thing is unfortunate and deeply saddens me because in order to be a successful businessman, you need to have trust, respect, and a good reputation. This whole situation is unfortunate because even whether I am unbanned or not, I have already suffered the greatest punishment there is in my opinion and that is a completely ruined reputation in which I worked extremely hard (Just under 3 years now) for. I was actually even working on another investment idea with another user and the only thing holding it back was the approval of our contract by all the SA’s. I am sorry to that user (I wont mention you, but you know who you are), as I know you worked very hard in helping develop that idea. I would still love to see that investment idea happen, but perhaps it is best to leave my name out of it given my new reputation unfortunately. During my time on staff, I can genuinely say that I tried my best to help the community. I did my best to make myself as easily approachable and accessible that I could. It took me a while to get the hang of things at first, but if somebody asked me a question or wanted me to look into something, I would do it right away. Even when asked by the SA’s to not get involved with any VoE contracts/complaints, I listened and did what I was asked. I give my sincerest apology to the community. I understand people will be upset and no matter what I say, some people will not believe me. I understand this and accept it. I made the critical error of voluntarily standing in that video and not investigating any further.

The main reason I want to be let back onto the server is to continue my “Project P” idea. You can read the thread on it, but a quick summary on it is that it’s all designed to help out builders and give them a good start. I had recruited a bunch of co-mayors to help run it since it had been gaining so much popularity, but after my unfortunate ban, it seems that all work there has stopped and some tensions are rising. I would like to resume, take back lead, and fix this. That is all I ask.

This will end my appeal. Yes, I knew of the video being made and of obble quitting, but I did not know about the scamming and about the burning of the eff7. My judgment was wrong and I apologize for it. I am now paying for that mistake. Thank you for taking the time to read this lengthy appeal… honestly did not think the day would come where I would have to write one. Once again, I am sorry.​

 

Thanks for the feedback. As stated in my appeal though, I did not see anything that was shady.

It ended up being a mistake yes, but he gave me a legitimate reason as to why he was saving up cash. That is why I did not feel the need to investigate. I know you probably disagree, but that is what happened and how I felt at the time.

As for your question, I will continue to pay out my investors to the best of my ability and will try to help organize the relief fund that was setup since I understand and used the same system that obble had used. I admit though that it will be very difficult considering that my account had been wiped unfortunately and I do not own any hard assets......

Including personal funded loans and money owed from banned players, I am owed a total of $6,294,535. Unfortunately though, I only really expect to receive about $2,625,000 back mostly due to scams and players being banned.

I currently owe $4,150,000 in investor cash. This does NOT include any profit made off interest on some loans that are still out.

No. We sold the eff7 a while ago long before any of this mess happened.

Honestly, I am not entirely sure just yet. My account was wiped, and the only tool I had was a melon sword that I co-owned with obble which unfortunately I think was seized by Andrew.... I can wait for loans to come back but unfortunately I've been scammed quite a large some myself and many loans are late as it is. I will have to think about it because this whole situation really put me under and in a pretty deep hole :/

 

I did not. Ill admit that during the first complaint against him from ldw I tried talking to clar and the higher ups but ultimately it was their decision.
