I explicitly told him I would break blocks without replanting, including melon seeds via a cobble monster. At no time did Chef tell me to stop or to replant the melon seeds. In fact, even after I told him that I was breaking blocks without replanting, he was fine with it. After like an hour, he asked me to replant only the carrots I broke. I explicitly asked him whether to replant the melon seeds and he said I did not have to. Obviously banning someone after they were explicitly asked to grief is entrapment.
And, for what it's worth, I would have obviously replanted the melon seeds if anyone ever asked me to.
Sharing my side since I am being accused of "entrapment" even though I replanted some of the crops griefed and did not file the report. I don't recall saying not replanting was fine and can't find this in the logs. I simply ignored your "i love breaking without replanting" as I thought you were going along with what was clearly a joke as an advertisement. You never mentioned lava casting, which I was unaware of until I saw the grief report, which is what appears to be the main cause here. I asked conner where the (cocoa) beans that he farmed were, he showed no interest in replanting: Pixel and I explained to another user right before that cocoa beans must be replanted, clearly setting the expectations at warp pixel: The advertisement was meant to be a joke and a creative way to get people interested in farming at pixel without using a stale ad that most people automatically ignore. Any established player should understand that no one is going to publicly ask them to actually grief a town. My ad was clearly a poorly received joke but I will be more straight forward in the future. However, you clearly understand how unserious advertisements can be, so there is no excuse for taking my ad literally.
I am not accusing you of knowingly trying to ban me. I am just saying that it's absurd to allow one owner of a town to let someone do something and then allow another owner to get that user banned for that exact thing. So you admit that I told you multiple times, quite clearly, that I was breaking without replanting, and that you knew I was breaking without repeating. You also admit that I always offered to replant (and did in fact replant the carrots when specifically isntructed to do so by pixel). I also specifically told you about breaking melon stems at [22:00:23] and [22:04:26]. I also mentioned the cobble monster at [22:02:26] in chat. No objections. I paid @CodsterTheGamer 15k for performing an actual scientific experiment on me, and I have successfully received permission from town owners to grief their towns after asking to do so in chat. My advertisement was simply not a joke. It was 100% serious.
Chef wasn't the one who filed the report - it was Pixel. Clearly Pixel wasn't ok with you messing with his town and he is the official owner of Pixel. You also did replant the carrots - but that was on 6/17, when Pixel noticed them not replanted. It looks like Pixel noticed the lava casting damage after that which is what the report came from. You also griefed Redstone with your actions which you definitely didn't have permission to touch under any circumstances.
