Minecraft Username:Nitro172 Reason:I was banned due to minor grief on oasis_farm. Counter-Reason: I have no counter reason as it is entirely my fault. I mined the nwarts and then had something to do irl. I didn't get a chance to replant the nwarts. I want to apologize to the owner of oasis_farms as he spent a while making the farm and I simply did not respect my perms. I understand if my perms will be removed. I have read the forum rules and understand my mistake. I hope that I won't make this mistake again. Clause 1 - Griefing Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you. This is not allowed in protected towns under any circumstance, and the owner of a town is welcome to put in a Grief Report and Rollback Request whenever they find grief within their town in order to have it investigated. The only exception to this is in the case that the owner of the town makes griefing allowable within the town. They must inform all residents of such a rule upon the residents joining the town. When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. Hi @nitro172 , I am glad that you wish to appeal your ban, and thank you for posting the relevant rule which you broke. Griefing is not tolerated on ECC which is reflected in the ban you received for not replanting a farm. I appreciate that it was only a small number of Nether Warts, however replanting farms is vital to allow other users to make use of them. In future I suggest messaging the town owner if a situation similar to this arises again, so that they know you intend to replant and are not just simply griefing. That being said, situations like this should be avoided at all costs. I appreciate that you have taken responsibility for your actions and I am going to be unbanning you, but with a 2hr temp ban.
