  • A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe.

      Clause 2 - Multiple Accounts
  • Multiple accounts used by different people on the same internet connection/IP are allowed.
  • An individual person playing on multiple accounts is allowed so long as no financial benefits arise from doing so. There must be absolutely no financial interaction between multiple accounts that you own.
  • If there are multiple accounts on the same internet connection/IP, either used by you or others, you must contact a member of staff immediately to inform them.
  • Users may be questioned for being on the same internet connection, or, in cases of suspicious activity and bans, immediately banned regardless of the reason for the same connection, to be appealed with an explanation.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:
This rule essentially means that players on ecocitycraft are not allowed to cheat other users by stealing items or services from them. Players are not allowed to take loans and then not pay them back. Players cannot also solicit services from other players without proper payment, this offense is therefore bankable on this server. I completely understand the meaning of this rule.
The multiple account rule states that accounts on the same IP that are different people are allowed, but using an account to bypass the ban of another on the same IP is not. The user will immediately be banned is most cases with a ban appeal with an explanation.


Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned:

This is my second appeal for this ban and I wish to first says that I am truly sorry for taking a loan from Maco and Slvrpme without paying it back. I understand that this is loan scamming and wish to return to the server to repay my debts as well as continue to enjoy Ecocitycraft as I sincerely miss the server. I know that I shouldn't have taken out so many loans when I knew that it would have been difficult to pay back. I'm also beginning to realize that it was a mistake to take a small loan during the previous period in which I was unbanned because it just made my job harder. The reason I took that loan was to purchase tools and equipment needed to efficiently mine and farm so that I could pay back my debts as soon as possible. I plan to set a goal of making around 20k per day until my debt is completely repaid in full. I'm hoping to accomplish this primarily through mining as well as farming. I also plan to dabble in the stock market a little bit due to the real life knowledge I already have with the system. I will not however gamble in any way because I know that in the end I will always lose money. I hope that you take all of this into consideration when determining whether or not to urban me; I would also like to add that I may have forsaken the trust of many of the staff members on this server, and the fact that this isn't the first time I've been banned, but I truly wish to settle this once and for all. I still have a little over a month of summer vacation left so I plan to commit as much time as I can per day to earn money to repay my debts. The 20k per day is simply the minimum amount I plan to earn; I really think that I can exceed that on a daily basis.

I'm again really sorry for taking out so many loans and for not repaying my debt on time the previous attempts I've been given to settle the money that I owe. I know that staff as well as the people I owe money may be getting tired of my shenanigans thus far, but this time around I will repay the money that is owed and plan to move forward with my time on this server in the most lawful and best fashion that I can. I really miss ECC since this really is the best economy server to play on, the first of which that I've seen to implement a stock market as well as a sports book. In the end, I really just want to pay my debts and enjoy my time on ECC. I plan to settle the debt of 160k to Maco as well as 115k to Slvrpme plus some other debts that I may have to other players that may post on this appeal. I understand that I may be getting a little repetitive here, but I really want to get back on the server and repay my debts. This truly is one of the best Minecraft servers out there. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal staff members.

So the alt accounts that were used were ItsNoodleTime, aliabidOFFICIAL, and aryaisready. ItsNoodleTime was banned through a misunderstanding because he was playing at my house and got immediately banned upon logging into the server. He has now been unbanned by Dewsy92 for a misunderstanding. The account aliabidOFFICIAL wasn't an alt either, it was a family member's for which I share the same household with. I was told by him that the account will get unbanned upon me getting unbanned. Phys also somehow banned him on the forums until April of 2018 and told him to appeal at physicistmom@ecocitycraft.com which isn't even a real url. The account appealed on ecocitycraft's twitter page since that was the only way he and I could think of since he was forum banned with little no no explanation. I presume that if I get unbanned, aliabidOFFICIAL will get unbanned as well. Also the account has seen no response for a week fron phys's twitter page, he shouldn't have been forum banned for nearly 2 years, I'm not sure how that decision was made, but it was. Anyway, the third account aryaisready was really an alt that I used and I'm really sorry for that too. I maliciously used an alt account to get back on the server when I knew that the staff and development team would obviously find out since it shares the same IP. I mean I know I'm using up my chances here and I understand that I'm causing a bit of a headache, but I just really wanted to get back on this server. It wasn't a good idea on my part for using the alternate account, but I just really wanted to rejoin the ecocitycraft community. I really don't want a tempban for this since the main point is to repay my debts and since it is still summer I wish to have as much time as possible. I've also been banned for over a year, so I feel as though I have have served my time regarding my rule breaking. Then again, that is for you staff members to decide. I'm again really sorry for what I did, it was an awful idea and it just made my case more worse than it already is. Sorry if I come across as being rude and disrespectful in any part of this appeal. I just want to rejoin the community, repay my debts, and enjoy all of the new features that the server has gained over the years like the new stock trader.

EDIT: Can you guys consider not giving me a temp ban because it has been so long and I have also revised the rules. I just want to maximize the time I have this summer to repay my debts. I hope that you can take this into consideration.

EDIT: ForestQueen21 shares the same IP as ItsNoodleTime, so that's not one of my alts. I'm not sure if I should deal with it or ItsNoodleTime.

 

That is what I was planning to do, I didn't want you to lock this thread like last time.

EDIT: Sorry if the above messgage came out as disrespectful, what I meant was that I just wasn't expecting such a quick response. I'm just still working on the appeal.
