Minecraft Username: liam1236 Have you changed your Minecraft username since being banned? If so, what is your previous name?: No Which of ECC's services are you banned on?: Main Server Reason of Ban: Griefing that I did not do. Rule violated: None Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Griefing is something done to destroy a property. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I feel as if I should be unbanned because I have not done anything wrong. I broke the quartz blocks when I owned that mansion... I sold the mansion back to @minecraftninja05 and he took a look at it and gave me a smaller house with 10k town money. @appleprocucling Look at the date at which the blocks were taken down... I did not grief @minecraftninja05 bought it back from me. I don't have any proof that I sold the house back to @minecraftninja05 but it has been about a week or so... you can ask him, hopefully he does not lie. Thanks and sorry for the confusion
Hello @liam1236, I am glad to see you appealing, however, before I can handle your appeal, I will have to do further investigation. I ask that you please wait patiently until I can do so, thanks in advance.
Alright, so. Me and Minecraftninja05 are not really happy about what happened to the house, its very damaged and far from the condition it should have been. Liam1236 did in fact own the house i filed a grief report for, and yes he did also trade in the house to move to another one in the same town, a trade that was done by Minecraftninja05. Minecraftninja05 told me he didn't notice the damages when they traded houses, and by some log investigation done by myself he removed all his chests, furnaces etc, 3 hours before parts ( read: not all but some) of the grief took place. This indicates that he might have removed blocks from the property after the trade was made. I have also talked to minecraftninja about this, and its likely that this is exactly what happened, since he said that he teleported him 3 times between the homes so he could move his stuff over. But, the earliest block placement i found logged in his new home was 2.5 minutes after the last grief was done in his old house (But couldn't check when the chests got placed, since they were locked, its not unlikely that his chests got placed earlier, but I don't know that), this may indicate that he didn't break blocks after the trade. This was 2 hours after what we believe was the time the houses got traded, but since we don't remember the exact time when the houses got traded (only strong indications, but with a little doubt), we have decided that the doubt should go to liam1236's favor. With other words I would like to withdraw the grief report I filed, that led to his ban. And since I'm withdrawing it, I would also like to apologies to Liam1236 for getting him banned. *Additional: The reason I filed the report in the first place was because no one was living there at the time, and I didn't know Liam1236 used to live there. @BackToThePast @liam1236 @minecraftninja05
Hello again @liam1236 Seeing as @appleprocucling and @minecraftninja05 have fully explained their sides, I will be unbanning you. It was simply an error as the grief report did not state that you owned the property during the time it was griefed, therefore, it had led to your ban. Finally, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience, I look forward to seeing you in-game again! Locked - User unbanned
