PvP/SG Hacking.​

Rule Violated:

Clause 1 - Hacking and Hacked Clients
Fly, speed, air build, teleport hacking, or any other types of hacks, are not tolerated. This includes x-ray hacking and x-ray texture packs. Using any unfair means (including glitches, bugs, and exploits) to get into server buildings is also not allowed and is unfair to other users.
Using any clients, specifically hacked clients, which may allow you to gain unfair advantages as deemed by ECC staff is strictly prohibited.
Users caught using any client deemed to be a "hacked client", as defined by and at the discretion of the staff, will be banned. There is no excuse for using a hacked client on EcoCityCraft whatsoever.
Discussion of hacked clients is not allowed - we do not allow them, and therefore we do not discuss them.​

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:

It is illegal for players to unfairly give themselves an advantage against others by hacking.​

Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned:

First of all, I understand that I screwed up, bigtime. Hacking is a huge offense on ECC, and understandably so; it allows users to almost be able to guarantee the kill of a player w/ out buffer. This is something that is unacceptable, and I understand that. I used the hack client first when I saw my cousin using one. I was immediately interested, wanting to be able to compete better in SG. I convinced myself that using hacks was just like using kits, though deep down I knew what I was doing was wrong. After being banned, the guilt started to sink in, and I felt quite terrible about the whole issue. I decided not to return to ECC, thinking that I didn't deserve to, given my transgression. However, my brother has recently been requesting that I come back, so after some consideration, I decided I would try for an appeal. I understand that if I successfully appeal, I will have received a second chance, something I believe should never be squandered. One of the main draws to hacked clients was the income that they gave, and I now know of much better ways to get money, which my brother has shared with me. He also told me I could probably use a few of his star tools, which would give me an alternate source of income, effectively negating the draw to hacked clients, and sg in general, excluding for entertainment.

Due to the lack of draw to hacking, and my sincere wish to never harm the players of ECC again, I can guarantee that I will never repeat my past misdeeds. All I ask, and I understand it is a lot, is to be given a chance to try again at ECC.
