Minecraft Username: ilymudkipz Reason: "banned for trolling nonesense" <<< Spelled exactly Counter-Reason: 1) I had used sarcasm intentionally thinking that the people would understand; however, I had underestimated them. I had said "I would definitely not know andrewkm is the owner especially with his big flashy red "owner" and "ALERT" sign. Unfortunately, I don't know how you can not notice this is sarcasm... so yeah I don't think it's all my fault... Sarcasm was used because I had listed what the Moderator had thought, not knowing andrewkm is the owner, and I had specifically pointed out big flashy red owner and alert tag. However, he was really mean and ignorant, probably didn't bother reading the whole sentence. 2) I was not given a warning besides "Stream has ended" which is a common error, not a warning on Minecraft, unfortunately the kind Moderator had not even warned me with the kicking messages. I had asked whether I was kicked or not and he had failed to responded due to his ignorance to judge all my comments as "troll". He did not respond at all in the chat except for "I don't know what your nonsense messages are" or some terribly phrased sentence like that For all other bans I have seen, people were told "Stop using curse words" "Use google don't ask us to help your server" "No server advertisement, you will be banned if you continued" What did I get? Nada. 3) I had stopped trolling and starting talking to people who had said... Someone had said ily _________- And I had responded What a brave confession. Unfortunately, I had thought people had understood that the abbreviation "ily" means I love you. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ily <<< "ily?" Someone asked "What emotions do you feel ily?" And I was like "I feel many emotions~~~~" 3 seconds later, I'm still typing "banned for trolling nonesense" WHICH IS SPELLED WRONG. Want a screenshot you terrible speller? Obviously, this moderator thinks I'm talking to everyone or the moderator, I'm not so why don't you buzz off? The world does not revolve around you, I may have trolled towards everyone when asking to Ban andrewkm, but you had not warned me OR said anything relevant towards a warning. Afterwards, I had steered off from that direction and you had interpreted my OTHER CONVERSATION differently. I don't know what's your problem or how I got in your pants or anything, but if you don't say stuff then I don't understand what kind of stuff you're trying to tell me. Like, if you hate me then say it and warn me about a ban. Don't take your rage out on me silently, it's one sided and broken off. I don't care if your shy but you're a moderator, you have to communicate with the people. I don't know you in real life so feel free to break the shell and say "Hey, stop trolling or I'll ban you" or "Shut the **** up before I kick you" I'm not going to rage or anything, I'll be like "Oh this guy is cereal" I will apologize for using sarcasm, but I just wanted to convene the message that I was unjustly banned with no warning from a shy, solitaire, and Moderator who may have been in a bad mood. What you think I write is nonesense, which was true until I had stopped chatting with you. But what I see from you is complete nonesense. Evidence: Evidence? Evidence for the counter reason? I didn't see a ban coming so there would be no reason for me to screenshot the conversation. Go check your chat logs, I was not warned at all. I do not consider "End of stream" a warning especially when the Moderator doesn't say anything when I ask him a question.
If you want to be unbanned, I highly reccommend being respectful to the staff, not rude. Waiting for andrewkm's response.
I would just like to state that I was not disrespectful at all before the time of banning except for using the joke of "Someone ban andrewkm for spamming" due to the fact he was taking up 4 bars of chat and continuously did so to advertise the "voting". I had used sarcasm, as previously stated, and unfortunately I had over-estimated people's reading comprehension. If you check the chat log, the sentence I phrased was completely sarcastic. I was rude in the topic post due to my frustration of the Moderator's ignorance. As previously stated before, I had detected three errata's of his doing, and an unreasonable ban, I had no reason to respect someone who had banned me without conveying a single lucid warning. P.S. this message is not a "nonsense post", I just hate leaving things open ended and favored towards the opponent. Go Speech and Debate!
The moderator in question was actually AndrewKM, the Administrator and Owner of our server. When you join the server, you agree to the rules, and one of those fine-print rules states that "The Owner reserves the right to ban you for whatever reason he may want to use". Insulting the owner of the server, the man who in-fact decides everyone's fate here, is not the best idea when making a ban appeal. In addition, using an immense amount of sarcasm throughout it, and in-fact insulting the staff by pointing out a spelling mistake, is a very bad idea. The owner does not have time to "come out of his shell", as you prefer to say it, by spending 100% of the time on the server and getting to know everyone. He spends hours and hours of his personal time and thousands of dollars out of his own pocket to support the server. In addition, calling him ignorant is a very bad attempt at appealing towards him unbanning you. I'd suggest you try a bit different type of ban appeal, one that is a bit nicer and more polite, instead of using sarcasm. You could also change your tone of writing, because it seems a smidgen belligerent.
Before any quick assumptions are made - 1) I did not ban you. 2) I do not know who banned you. Upon reading through your entire Counter-Reason, I've noticed that perhaps you may have been banned too quickly to justify. However, your approach to this matter was rather childish and showed your inability to cope with the situation like a mature person. Regardless of who banned you, why they banned you - All you had to do was submit a Ban Appeal; which most get accepted right away without much question. Now, this Ban Appeal of yours - Albeit, I cannot even call this a Ban Appeal because of the fragrant disrespect that you've shown towards the Moderator that has banned you and just the whole mentality that you have shown, believing that you should have never been banned. Your ignorance, rather - Is the shadowed hindsight of assessing the situation like a mature user and trying to understand that you may infact, have done something wrong. This ban appeal will be pending for Andrew's decision - As, I personally feel that this isn't any sort of proper appeal.
I don't believe it was Andrewkm banned me, I believe it was the other "Mod" who had said I was writing nonsense. Andrewkm, I had jokingly said needed to be banned for spamming, which was to incite the people telling me that Andrewkm is the owner and laughing at how stupid I was being. However, they had stepped to far and I had realized I need to tell them off, using sarcasm. I had pointed out the spelling mistake because it had shown how much thought had went through the actual ban process. 1. The person had ignored the fact I was conversing with others after my sarcastic remark. He had not read the chat box thoroughly enough to realize people were conversing with me. 2. He had banned me so swiftly that he could not even spell it properly. It shows how much he cares, he doesn't even read what he writes. /kick ilymudkipz "No message" /kick ilymudkipz "no message" /kick ilymudkipz "NO message" /ban ilymudkipz "banned for trolling nonesense" What the kicks come to me is "End of stream" - oh hey I've seen this glitch when playing on my friends server in the past, could be a glitch of the server or map. And suddenly, there's a message stating I am banned for trolling nonesense. As a player, I am able to convene how much time he has put into thinking what he had been doing. It's quite obvious I'm pissed at the Moderator's ignorance, and I would like him to read the message and realize the faults he has made and reflect upon it just as I have reflected upon myself, no more sarcasm. "An appeal is a petition for review of a case that has been decided by a court of law." A review of a case, not an smootching session of how much I love him. (Which I do, of course, I love all Moderators!) P.S. I have a good feeling I know who banned me, twas a Moderator not the Owner. Andrewkm had said nothing while the Moderator had used the word "Nonsense" in one of his responses. At the same time my ban has the word "nonsense" in it.
No, ILYMudkips, i am 100% sure it was AndrewKM who banned you, because as soon as you were banned, he made an Alert that said He had banned you, and that your "trolling had become annoying".
A review of a case is just the assessment of a case through a neutral view, taking only the facts out without any sort of personal bias or assumptions. This thread will now be locked, pending for Andrew's review.
