    In Game Name:
    GoMonkeyMad
Have you changed your Minecraft username since being banned/muted? If so, what is your previous name:
    No
Which of ECC's services are you banned/muted on:
    Main/ Muted
    Reason of Ban/Mute:
I was in an argument with wolfspy7 and constant toxicity/trolling I believe. I dont think it was trolling but there was another reason
    Rule Violated:
    Clause 2 - Vulgarity(top)
Occasional mild to moderate vulgarities that are not directed at anyone (such as "slip-ups" or saying them in the incorrect chat by accident), self-censorship of a swear word or abbreviations that may imply a swear word (eg. WTF?) are allowed unless it is directed at another user.
Repeated or excessive swearing, and especially vulgar language directed at anyone, is not tolerated under any circumstance. This includes anything put on signs, said in chat, written in books, renamed to on items, spelled out in blocks or any other way of communicating.
Racist language or prejudicial language of any sort falls under the vulgarity rule, and is considered a very serious offence which may result in a ban with no warnings given.
    Clause 1 - Trolling(top)
Trolling is not allowed on the server, especially any trolling that is directed towards another user. This includes, but is not limited to:
    Flame baiting
Harassment (See Section 2 Clause 2.)
    Cyber-bullying
Attempts to start any form of chaos and discord within the server.
Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means:
You shouldn't be swearing or directing language. Behave and play as a productive ECC member.
Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned/un-muted:
I think I should be unmuted because I understand what I did wasn't necessary and I shouldn't have kept arguing with wolf. I take all responsibility for everything we did. A simple warning or mute would've worked fine as well but there wasn't any warning and it led to a straight permanent mute. Part of the reason why I kept arguing was because I had my ACT test today and I was under a lot of stress and wasn't thinking straight. I won't let this type of behavior happen again. It was completely stupid and unprofessional. I apologize to all ECC staff and members for what happened in Global. It should've been taken into PM's or another channel. I understand if this mute won't be accepted. I apologize for my action.

You actually were warned, though - Countless times by several staff members, including myself, in fact. It wasn't just what happened yesterday that lead up to the mute, but rather countless situations where you and other users (including wolf) have repeatedly disrupted chat day-in day-out with all sorts of toxic behavior. And while you may not have been the person who was the instigator in many of these cases, you still participated in and aggravated/prolonged the situation which makes you liable for what happened as well.

In short, it doesn't matter who "started" what. If someone is trying to harass you or bait you into an argument, just ignore them or file a complaint. But you participating in it and making the situation worse is something that needs to stop. Temp'd 1 day.
