Main Server/Teamspeak Reason of Ban: Vulgar language/Trolling/Disrespect towards staff members Rule violated: Section 2 - Griefing, Trolling and Harassment Clause 2 - Trolling Trolling is not allowed on the server, especially any trolling that is directed towards another user. This includes, but is not limited to: Flame baiting Harassment (See Section 2 Clause 3.) Cyber-bullying Attempts to start any form of chaos and discord within the server. Clause 3 - Harassment Harassment constitutes as any form of action (chat or game play wise) that makes another player feel threatened or otherwise ruins their game play. Griefing in the wild does not constitute harassment. Harassment in the wild is strictly chat/command based. This includes, but is not limited to; blackmail, bullying or any other form of harassment that occurs through our chat system. Attempting to kill other players in any non-PvP zone also constitutes as harassment, and succeeding in killing other players in non-PvP areas is a very severe offence that will result in a ban. Harassment is absolutely inexcusable on EcoCityCraft. If you are engaging in this behavior expect to be removed from the server with little to no warning. Disrespecting staff falls under this rule - They are players too. Section 4 - Chat, Channels and Discussions Clause 2 - Vulgarity Inappropriate and vulgar language is not allowed. This includes anything put on signs, said in chat, written in books, renamed to on items (see Section 3 Clause 2.1), spelt out in blocks (see Section 2, Clause 2.1), or any other way of communicating. Occasional mild to moderate vulgarities that are not directed at anyone (such as "slip-ups" or saying them in the incorrect chat by accident), self-censorship of a swear word or abbreviations that may imply a swear word (eg. WTF?) are allowed unless it is directed at another user. Repeated or excessive swearing, and especially vulgar language directed at anyone, is not tolerated under any circumstance. Racist language or prejudicial language of any sort falls under the vulgarity rule, and is considered a very serious offence, punishment of which may not warrant a warning before being given a ban, Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Trolling is usually when a player is annoying, hurting, griefing, etc. intending to cause problems or ruin another player's game play. Harassment is when a player is disrespecting or trolling a player intending to hurt them or ruin there game play. Vulgarity is when a player is cursing, using sexual references or any kind of inappropriate language no suitable for younger members of the community. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I believe I should be unbanned because I realize the wrong I've done. I don't want to be know as the one who gets banned all the time but as the good person that people like not hate. I want people to look up to me not down on me, I realize the hurtful things I've down and said and I wish to make sure I don't do those things again. I'm extremely sorry for what I've done and said. Also the last couple of weeks have been kind of hard with some incidents in my real life that I probably should talk about here because it is very touchy and can be inappropriate for the younger members of the community, this has caused some emotional toll on me such as stress and anger. I just have wanted to take some of this anger out where ever and one of those things/places has been the ECC community. I'm very sorry for how rude and annoying I have been to other players even though I've been very angery I realize that this is no excuse to behave like this. I know I have a bad past with ECC with previous bans, I may not be able to change the past but I know I can change the future and I want to enjoy ECC with the others in the community the way it should be. I know I can change even though I said in game, "I'm a troll and I'll always be a troll" but I know I can change my behavior and I wish to do so and rejoin this wonderful community.
@GiveMeCookie My personal experiences with you on ECC haven't been that great. You, like you said did troll pretty consistently and in a way that upset a lot of users. Part of what make ECC a great place is when most of the users respect others to a degree. I can totally see where you are coming from with being upset about things in real life. It happens to all of us, I have issues in real life, and so do others. The important lesson here is that taking your anger out on others who don't deserve it isn't the way to handle your stress, nor do we permit it here. We strive to keep ECC a fun and friendly environment and hopefully it can become a place of escape for you, rather than a place to lash out in anger or stress. I'm glad to see you are sorry for your actions and that you understand why what you did was wrong. Now that we addressed your current appeal, I'd like to point out some things from your last successful appeal, just to revisit some of the things you said. You've mentioned before that you'd like to change how people see you, perhaps you should revisit that goal and try to work on it. Though I will give you the benefit of the doubt and see if you really still mean it and only were lashing out due to your aforementioned stresses. Don't think I'm letting you off the hook though. If you come right back and continue trolling it won't be a very happy end for you. I will be issuing you a tempban of 36 hours due to the scale of the trolling you did, as well as this is not the first time you're banned for this, after you return I hope we can see a better side of you.
