Clause 1 - Griefing
Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you.
Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request
If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town.
When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback.
Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief.

This means that you have rights in a town and rules. Most of them go by no griefing or messing with others stuff. Here I broke a rule, I get that.​

Reason you feel you think you should be un-banned:

I feel I should be unbanned because I also feel this isn't right. One night I was very desperate for money, and looked around and saw diamond blocks. First off I broke a few and then could not stop, was a chain. I understand the fact that breaking blocks (griefing) in a town that is not owned by me, is illegal. Look I will admit, there is no lying to this, that I griefed epicure, but I would not consider this grief 'major'. Not trying to argue, just pointing out my opinion.

Secondly, me and oootopia, a supermod has talked the night they had investigated and realized I was the criminal. I gave her money, I apologized and was acting up that night because of family issues. I may have said ban me ban me, but it's a joke. If someone says ban me in global, that does not mean you can just ban them. Me and the smod talked and I gave a stack of diamond blocks plus about 50k more to refund my grief. I apologized and the argument ended.

I know I was banned for grief, but I just need to point this out. Everything was fine, I gave stuff back, paid money and no harm was done. Almost as nothing happened. I made a fool of myself but I didn't just not do anything about it. So about 3 days later, I killed oootopia in the end. This set off her and her friedns, so after I gave back materials and money, apologized and was removed from a town. Then banned and was told the grief problem was over with, gets banned again. For 'major' grief. Look I am mad, very mad. And I want to come back to ecocitycraft because I believe this was dealt with already. I am truly sorry mendi for griefing, and it won't happen anyways because you lost my trust, and hope this doesn't break my career. Thanks for reading my appeal.​
