Minecraft Username: camaron2jz Reason of Ban: Using Bad Language /Disrespecting Staff. Rule Violated: Clause 2 - Vulgarity Inappropriate and vulgar language is not allowed. This includes anything put on signs, said in chat, written in books, renamed to on items (see Section 3 Clause 2.1), spelt out in blocks, or any other way of communicating. Occasional mild to moderate vulgarities that are not directed at anyone (such as "slip-ups" or saying them in the incorrect chat by accident), self-censorship of a swear word or abbreviations that may imply a swear word (ie. WTF?) are allowed unless it is directed at another user. Repeated or excessive swearing, and especially vulgar language directed at anyone, is not tolerated under any circumstance. Racist language or prejudicial language of any sort falls under the vulgarity rule, and is considered a very serious offence, punishment of which may not warrant a warning before being given Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Using vulgar language of any type is not allowed because this is a family friendly server. Disrespecting staff could be anything from slandering them to swearing straight at them. Just general rudeness/harassment towards a staff member. Reason I feel I should be unbanned: I began raging after I lost most all of my money in lottery. I should have tried better to control myself. I see in hindsight that I acted immaturely. I really miss playing on the server and would love to get back on so I can continue to make money again. If I get unbanned I will be using /lot messages so I am not tempted to play the lottery. Also I apologize to @7amoodw for the things I said to him. And to anyone that had to witness my foul language.
Hello @camaron2jz, thank you for appealing your ban. It is important to not use that kind of language on this server as it is for people of all ages and backgrounds. Also, the staff work very hard to keep the server family friendly, so you should treat them with respect. Since you seem sincere about your apology, I will be giving you a 3 hour tempban. During your tempban, I suggest you read the rules again so this does not happen again. Your punishment will be more severe if this continues. Locked.
