Clause 4 - Theft and Safety [I think scamming also falls under this catagory.] Items left in unlocked chests or on the ground are fair game, no matter their location. It is your responsibility to use our LWC lock system to keep your stuff safe and to yourself. If you modify someone else to allow them access to a chest, they are allowed to take any of the contents unless it is part of an agreement or contract. Please use our system with extreme caution. Clause 2 - Scamming [I feel sorry for scamming 2 people.] A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe. Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion. Clause 4 - Common Sense and Bending the Rules [This was not a good idea to ruin the community] While this is a gaming environment, EcoCityCraft is also a very large community. As such, we expect that all players use their common sense. Be a good sport and a friendly community member. Common sense extends to not bending the rules. Bending the rules constitutes as very severe trolling, and is not tolerated in any form. Encouraging others to break the rules is not using your common sense. Please explain: I was a resident trying to get mayor, but when I saw an opportunity to lotto snipe and go for it, The first loan I received, I used it on lotto and won 360k, I saw another lotto, and I tried to snipe it. But @kukelekuuk00 won all my money with 3 tickets. My balance was at $0 now, and I needed money to pay off the loan, so I immediately went to search for a loan. And now I am banned. I have paid @ASauer, she can confirm it and it has also been stated in the contract. Reason: I am sorry to @washingtonc, for he was grateful enough to give me a loan of 100k, I paid back the 1st loan already. I know I may not be unbanned, but I will use this appeal to apologize to @washingtonc and everything he could have done with that 100k, If I were to be unbanned I would like to repay him and thank him for the loan. A friend, and I were able to scrap up 100k, which I gave out a contract. I was trying to get more money off the contract. But unfortunately I was never paid back by @WabbleYT Alot has happened in these 4-5 months I have been banned, many of the previous staff have left and been banned, andrewkm gave up ownership to Physicistsmom, and I guess a boss battle took place. @awesomemax64 Your ban reason has been updated. As such, before I can continue with this appeal I need you to explain why your IP matches that of awesomemen64 in game.
First of all, yes, this post is relevant. If you look back through awesomemen64's ban appeals there are 2 that deal with this multi account issue. You may check them out if you wish, staff.
@nicit6 @a18greek18 I have made it very clear that awesomemen64 and I are friends. The reason he has almost the same IGN as me is because, as in the complaint made to me by @StanleyMines I told you that I bought @awesomemen64 his account. And if you are wondering why I have the same ip, it is because I was at his house just visiting him. I saw him playing on the server, and he told me about how much it changed. So he helped me make this appeal. and as for multi-counting, I am a different person than @awesomemen64. We live very near to each other too. Have a good day
Clause 2 - Multiple Accounts Multiple accounts used by different people on the same internet connection/IP are allowed. An individual person playing on multiple accounts is allowed so long as no financial benefits arise from doing so. There must be absolutely no financial interaction between multiple accounts that you own. If there are multiple accounts on the same internet connection/IP, either used by you or others, you must contact a member of staff immediately to inform them. (I did not know this applied to forums also) Users may be questioned for being on the same internet connection, or, in cases of suspicious activity and bans, immediately banned regardless of the reason for the same connection, to be appealed with an explanation. @awesomemax64 As per this complaint you owe @washingtonc $92,348. However, Washingtonc has been banned for some time now so instead of a set deadline, you are to have the money for him within 7 days of him being unbanned. Please note that this information is your responsibility to find, and should washingtonc not be paid 7 days from being unbanned he may file a new complaint. Scamming isn't acceptable at all and I hope you realize this. I'll be unbanning you now, but please reread the server rules as quite a bit has changed recently. See you soon! @awesomemax64 unbanned.
