Minecraft Username: AlphaTimer Reason: Alternate account of kconahan? Counter-Reason: First of all, I havent even logged onto ECC in a long time (Probably 2-3 Months). I just wanted to come on to see updates, new spawn, etc. I am appealing because I am NOT an alternate account of anybody. Note, I am NOT appealing to be forgiven or pardoned. I am appealing because this is a false ban. I did some research and tried to see what could have led me to become suspicious of such an act. The last time I was on the server, I recalled kconahan being quite an influential member. I am not aware of what he was banned for, nor am I interested. The only possible reason I could be included in this incident was because of a similar ip address. All I can say is that, no one other then myself that lives in this household plays on this server or even MC in general. I remember kconahan mentioning something about living in Michigan in a thread about meeting up with ECC player in-real life. He even specifically mentioned Ann Arbor, I believe. We live in the same city, same state. As much of a coincidence this may sound, it's the truth. No I do not recognize him in real life. In fact, we have never even talked in-game and to a larger extent, interacted via any methods. I can't really say much more as I do NOT know how you came to your conclusion. The only thing I can ask is that you look over this ban with more detail. If it requires more evidence on my part, feel free to ask and I'll do whatever is necessary. Evidence: No direct evidence can be given on my part to further prove my point. If evidence is required, I'd be happy to fulfill. However, I can hopefully provide some soft evidence to prove my point. I have not even pinged the server in quite awhile - My /seen record or my enderchests, etc have probably been wiped. I haven't made a transaction since somewhere near january or even november-december. I have quite a small reputation as a staff member here, made a few friends, did a few small transactions, etc. Haven't had a bad history of bans, kicks, or anything in the past. I didnt know many people but those that I did could probably vouch for me I was ACTIVELY playing the server last year and if I were associated with kconahan, I would have likely been found out already. As said, I have no "solid" evidence. Only thing I can ask is that you look more carefully and see that I'm truly innocent and I have no association with this player.
I did some reaserch and it seems to look as if AlphaTimer is not Kconahan. I'll keep this short and to the point. Kconahan and his alt's never, ever used caps nor had good grammer. AlphaTimer uses correct punctuation and uses caps the majority of the time. Anyway, good luck on your appeal, but all in all it's up to the mods ~DeMacca
Sorry if this is irrelevant, but I do recall seeing this. "well it appears unknownrider has found upmoon.. this is annoying but it must be even more annoying to all the staff members as well as Andrewkm that I myself (kconahan) have actually been among the staff of ecc in the past months.. kinda ironic if you think about it.. a permabanned user being on staff even after achtuple accounting major scamming grief and melon sword/eff 7 theft as well as donation scamming if u count golem645 I do miss some very friendly users on ecc aspecially ATWINKIE and xpurexcorex as they were always so friendly to me:/ I bet you guys both think im awful now but such is life. anyways andrewkm how does it feel to know I was on your staff team? I was moderating your server and am still playing to this day. it is unfortunate that you keep finding my duel accounts but no matter. my oldest and best account is still untouched and prospers to this day. actually I think ill go file a staff application right now XD" I can see a grammer difference, but of course, you can't judge off grammar now with technology. Also, khonahan uses a Ip mixer, so goodluck with that one.
After further checking, it appears as though there was a mistake here regarding alternate account usage. At the time we had banned your account, we were doing a few checks on old mods that could pertain to kconahan's statement that origamimaster10 has provided. Your IP was practically identical to that of kconahan's location, and since you were not actively playing on the server at the time, we felt it was of best caution to ban the account then and there. However, since you have returned we are able to get a better understanding of the situation and how you two oddly enough live close to each other.
