Felon: TheDarkFlame11 (Before I start, on my ban appeal number two, kmaxwell said to fix my appeal, I'm not trying to bump it.) Complaint: So 2 days ago I was banned because I stated that [Mod Edit] had better hg than ECC. I've come to understand this is considered to be advertising by the server. I get it. I broke a rule. While examining the rules carefully, there is nothing that specifically states that what I did (not advertising in general, but what I specifically said) is ban-able, however that's not the point. My point is that I played ECC for a good month and never was warned or kicked for bad behavior, instead I was banned and am now writing my third appeal, and yes the rules do state it is ban-able to advertise. But look at the case and the person, not just the case. Thx guys please don't make me write another. For additional info pls check ban appeal 2 by TheDarkFlame11. Evidence: Rule book. Brain power. You said the server name again here in your appeal. How is that not advertising, again, another server? If you would like to prove you know the rule that was broken, you can copy it from the wiki and paste it here in your appeal.
Advertising is strictly prohibited in our chat system for any kind of external product, Minecraft server, or anything else non-EcoCityCraft related. Except for mentioning another Minecraft server, mentioning external products is allowed, as long as they are not being advertised. Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades, store advertisements, or personal livestreams that are completely and only EcoCityCraft related) must go into our Trade Channel, and must always abide by our trade channel rules for length and repetition. Now, seeing as this seems to just be a misunderstanding of the server rules, and not made with the intention of advertising that server, I will be unbanning you. In the future, please make sure to be more careful on what you say, and if you are ever unsure about something, feel free to ask a Staff Member that is in-game, and they will gladly clear up any questions you have about the rules. I will unban you now. Please note that further rule breaks will be treated more harsh, regardless of rank or playtime on the server, as the rules apply to everyone equally.
