Could you make a ruling on if automap (www.automap.com) is a legal map to use on ECC? I did a search on the site but got no hits. It maps your surroundings for you as you move, but it also tells you mobs and players in the area as well as items. The players and mobs in the area that it detects are NOT all at the same level you are. Just wanted to get an official word on it. thanks!
Could I get a mod to comment on this? I pm'd Andrew and he said this was the place for it. I'm concerned because I think it's possible to gain an unfair advantage by using this. It's quite possible people are already using it and it has similarities to xray. Some players may feel that since it's called "automap" that it is safe to use. I won't be using unless I hear it is legal thanks!
If it tells where mobs/players/items are, then it would be illegal, because it's giving an unfair advantage
