So just recently, my minecraft has decided that it wants to auto walk/jump every 30 seconds or so. I've searched around a bit for different solutions, and the only one that was supposed to work was updating the lwjgl files. I have done this and still have had that same issue. When I first noticed this, I had a few mods loaded up with MagicLauncher. I have tested to to see if this issue persists with all mods disable and unfortunately it still does. I've force update the client several times, and that's not working. I can't seem to figure out any solution to this, and I've rage quit several times over this. Has anyone come across this issue recently, and is there any ideas on a possible solution? p.s I know it's not my keyboard because minecraft is the only game that has this issue.
This is a known issue throughout multiple forums, after doing some research. I too have an issue that sort of relates to yours. My mouse randomly spazes out of control, and starts spinning in random directions for about five seconds, it's really obnoxious. From what I gather, it's a bug with Minecraft's control system, but there doesn't seem there isn't any fixes for both of our issues.
One of the things that I did above seemed to have fixed it temporarily after I restarted my computer. I'm not entirely certain which one though. I've been playing for about a half hour and have yet to have the issue arrive again.
You could save all of your saves and screenshots etc... and then delete your .minecraft and then re-download it.
Updating LWJGL should fix this, it's probably a problem with jinput and your drivers. Another thing you can do update your drivers. Also, when did this start? Did it start after something you did?
Could it be possible you are pressing Alt and W key at the same time? I know that on my Minecraft if I press a key, Alt, Alt again it will continue to act if that key is down. If you press the key again it stops.
I've updated my LWJGL and jinput along with all of the file in the natives folder. I haven't checked to see if any of my drivers are outdated yet. I also do not recall doing anything before this issue started happening. No, I know for a fact that I was not touching the alt key any time this issue would arise.
When you force update it re-installs the lwjgl files, too. So if you did force update, you might want to re-install those. And do update your drivers.
