the bug im reporting is that any mobs that have a stack over 500 auto butcher. it has been like this since the nether update for set ups in the mining world. this wasn't a big issue until I tried to combine my sheep farm with @kingjames236 sheep. they combined and created 1 stack of 500 and another stack of 40. the 500 stack then was auto butchered a few seconds later. I don't have enough eggs to replicate this in rising, however this works very consistently in mining with spawner set ups. it is expected that the stack of 500 will not auto butcher, however this is not the case. thanks
I’m fairly certain this is intended as there are some exploits if you can make stacks with thousands of mobs
This is intended and happens every 10 minutes in the Mining world. It does not happen in the Rising world.
Alright I was able to reproduce something similar here. It will be quite a while before we dig deep into this to attempt a fix as our backlog has grown quite large again.
ok sweet. and no problem. would there be any way to get the sheep back? just taken a couple years to get all those sheep and it would be sad if they all just gone lol.
The bug has now been found and fixed. (God it took forever lol...) @oPriam please contact an SA+ @STAFF-04 Server Admin and they will compensate you for the lost sheep. <3
