Reason: Banned for abuse of pyro feature (Grief in Mining World).

Counter-Reason: I am terribly shocked and embarrassed at my ban, and reason. As Twinsfan stated, we had no intent on hurting anyone (I checked, the house was empty), and had no idea it was against the rules. I have since gone back and read through the rules and I can assure you that I know how to handle my feature (Should I keep it).
    Evidence:

    Griefing

      • Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you.
        • This is not allowed in protected towns under any circumstance, and the owner of a town is welcome to put in a Grief Report and Rollback Request whenever they find grief within their town in order to have it investigated.
      • The only exception to this is in the case that the owner of the town makes griefing allowable within the town. They must inform all residents of such a rule upon the residents joining the town.
      • When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback.
      • Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief.
      • Please see Section 7 for rules regarding grief in the Aether, Nether and Mining World.
    Mining World

      • Using any means (including water and fire/lava) to grief any protected area in the mining world (which can include protected warps and the main Mining World spawn) is not allowed.
      • Legacy/Rising rules apply to all areas of the mining world, including trolling rules.
        • As the mining world is not PvP enabled, this 100% includes rules about attempts to kill players in this world, no matter what the reason.
      • Please keep in mind that the mining world does not allow LWC locks, and therefore anything you leave in chests in that world is free for all.
    Pyro/Water

      • Supporters who have the water and pyro features are not allowed to grief with those items under any circumstances.
      • This includes attempts to kill people with these perks in non-PvP areas.
      • If caught you will immediately have those features removed from you and will face punishment on our server. This can include a rollback of your actions and a possible ban.
*This was the rule I was unaware of, and I assure you, it will not happen again.

Since this issue has to deal with abusing donation features I will tag @Stolio in this since he is the Game Admin who banned you for it.

    Hello Whitestar,

Thank you for choosing to appeal. I appreciate your honesty.

Considering this if your for ban for abuse of a donation feature, I will be tempbanning you for 1 day. I suggest be far more careful next time as another abuse of this feature can cause you to lose it entirely.

User banned for 1 day - Locked.
