Minecraft Username: Nickel274678 Reason of Ban: Major Grief to town Bobtopia, and abuse of my water and pyro donation features. Rule violated: Clause 1 - Griefing Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you. Grief is not allowed in protected towns, unless the town owner has decided otherwise. In the event a grief occurs in a non-grief town then a grief report can be filed here: Grief Report and Rollback Request If a town allows grief then all residents must be informed before joining the town. When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Griefing can be very detrimental to the player who owns a town and even the server as a whole. Griefing can mean destroying countless hours of hard work and can cause frustration and anger. Seeing a huge portion of Minecraft bans are related to grief, I understand why griefing is such a large issue. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I completely see why I was banned in the first place, and knew before I griefed the town that I would get banned. A while I go I was really lost and felt like it was a funny thing to do. Getting banned for something as major as this is a no brainer, and I feel like EcoCityCraft is a very entertaining and great place to be when I have time. It has been a while since I've been banned, and I have definitely think I deserve a second chance at a great experience
Thank you for wishing to appeal. As your ban reason deals with feature abuse, I have spoken with the owner of the server about whether you should keep the features you used for griefing or not. You are keeping your features, but make sure this never happens again. Griefing is a very serious offense that is never taken lightly, especially if donation features are involved. I will be unbanning you, however with a 3 day temporary ban. During this time, I expect you to read up on all rules, including the ones you quoted above.
