Minecraft Username: fertile01 Reason: "The Ban Hammer has spoken!" Is all it says. I've never been on the server, so its hard to find a reason Counter-Reason: I was looking on minecraft servers list, and I found this server. Sounds cool, but Im banned. My account is secure, Im the only one that knows the password. You can check your records, I garantee it won't say I've been on the server before. I am aware that if you have anti-cheat plugins, they might say I have a "bad rep" or I've been banned from other servers or something. I have absolutely no explanation for this, I've been pre-banned on tons of servers. I have no idea what the deal is. Evidence: I cannot supply evidence, as I have never been on the server.
Hello fertile, I have looked into this and indeed cannot find a ban reason for you. Do you have another person who uses the same computer as you do? I will also point out we do not ban people for their past actions on other servers. If you join our server you have a clean record when you start. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
fertile01 can you please PM me your IP address, as it is possible that there could have been an IP ban of someone using an IP before you. WeWinAgain can we check to see what, if any, bans may have been in place for this user previously?
This happened to me too i think you guys should watch out what names u ban and if u ban a person that never joined the server, UNBAN HIM! If u banned a name accidentally UNBAN THE NAME! (i posted a complaint for this) P.S I have friend that works for planet minecraft
Ok first off its not the staff's fault if they ban you, maybe they had banned your ip due to the fact that someone had used that ip to do something bad, or they did accidentally ban the wrong username, either way just post a appeal and staff will handle everything for you.
Both comments are unnecessary, thank you for defending us pbrassat but it isnt really necessary. Shayanx if he is on the ban list then it is either by mistake or on purpose. They are checking to see if his ip has been banned as this user may or may not be trying to ban evade. It is as pbrassat said though the staff are working on this, if they find a reason for his ban then he will remain banned, if it is as the user says then he will be unbanned and welcome to join the ecc community.
I did some snooping and may have come accross a few leads. I googled ,"The Ban Hammer has spoken!" mincraft, and it looks like I may have found something. I'm not sure what the pluging for bans we use is, but it looks like this is the responce that players get if they are banned by MCBans (a global banning solution) I kept looking and found a ban report on fertile01. I'm going to hold off on saying any more on here, but I think I've left enough information for a mod to find what I did. Hopefully this info will help expidite this appeal application.
If you are banned on another server, that does not effect your reputation here on ECC. You get a fresh start here.
