Minecraft Username: fedin2 Reason of Ban: Moderate grief in Ocean_City Rule Violated: I will take my cousin's blame for him griefing Ocean_City (town) that i no longer want to live in anymore. Please explain in your own word griefing and rule(s) mean: Rules are instructions you must follow no matter you are angry or in the mood to break them. Rules must be treated with respect. Breaking a rule may have you suffer any possible consistence. Griefing is an act that one does destroying and stealing another persons property. Reason you should be repealed: I really love ECC its the only server I play. I believe I should be Unbanned because I personally did not break the rules, my cousin did. I will take the blame. I will not let this ever happen ever again. Please let me back in I apologize.
Just saying The rule violated should be "Griefing" and the please explain in your own word rule(s) mean: should be you explaining the rule griefing, i recommend reading the rules to know the rules you violated better
Hello @fedin2. Before I begin to consider your appeal, I would like for you to quote the rule you broke from our server rules.
@fedin2 go onto http://www.ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page and find the rule for Griefing. Then copy and paste it
Clause 1 - Griefing Grief is defined as breaking or destroying things that do not belong to you, including breaking and replacing things to get to places that otherwise you shouldn't be going (for example, breaking into someone's house.) This can also extend to building things in areas that do not belong to you. This is not allowed in protected towns under any circumstance, and the owner of a town is welcome to put in a Grief Report and Rollback Request whenever they find grief within their town in order to have it investigated. The only exception to this is in the case that the owner of the town makes griefing allowable within the town. They must inform all residents of such a rule upon the residents joining the town. When a grief report is filed, grief is graded on a sliding scale of minor/moderate/major based on the amount and severity of damage done, and is determined based on staff guidelines by the staff member investigating the situation. It is also determined at that time whether the grief is bad enough to warrant a rollback. Grief in the wild is frowned upon, but allowed. Staff will not take any action in the case of wild grief. Please see Section 7 for rules regarding grief in the Aether, Nether and Mining World.
First of all, your account is your responsibility. It is up to you to keep your account safe and secure. Regardless of who is using the account at any given time, any and all actions taken while in use will reflect back on you at the end of the day. If you want to attempt preventing this kind of account breach again, I would suggest changing your password and un-checking the 'Remember last login' button in the login screen. As for your grief - this kind of action on ECC is not okay at all. You had mainly destroyed the crops from a farm, and failed to replant those crops. When given permissions to a town that provides a farm, either paid or free, you are generally expected to replant all plantable crops unless specifically told not to. These actions are not fair to all of the other honest users using this farm in the correct fashion. For now, I'll be Temp-Banning you for 6 hours. During this time, I suggest reviewing our server rules to ensure actions such as this do not occur again. See you then. User Temp-Banned 6 Hours -- Locked
