Minecraft Username: crippledcrafter Reason: for a mob trap Counter-Reason: i was using a mob trap that i bought from a player online, and mod found me using it (childersc), it was a spider spawner, it was high up in the room but the mobs didnt take damage from the trap, i had the room that big so more would spawn at a faster rate, i have even had my friends in game say it was legal to use. it was high enough so the mobs wouldnt take falling damage but high enough so more would spawn. i made sure it was i even looked at the rules to be sure of it. im very sorry for the misunderstanding, im just really nervous (i hate being in trouble) i thought i was going by the rules if there is something that i did wrong with the trap please just inform me of it so i could do something to change about it..im dearly sorry...i dont wanna be banned off ecc :"( i love the server a ton..i would be very appreciative if i could talk this over with a mod and try to understand what was wrong with it..like i said im super sorry.. Evidence:my friend will say the same thing, plus i have a screenshot but i dont know how to post it :/
btw in the first line when i say "mob trap" i mean its set up so the spiders cant walk threw a doorway.
You should just apologize instead of trying to correct a moderator's judgement on the mob trap. Just a tip.
crippledcrafter, The spawner was high up enough that when I saw spiders falling, they were taking some damage. Additionally, when I broke through the wall and saw you, after immediately attempting to kill you I noticed that there was no other way out of that room which essentially makes it a trap as well. Mobs must be able to freely roam in a 10x10 area outside of their initial spawn point.
Since you apologized via PM I will request that your ban be reduced. Additionally the trap has been destroyed.
