Clause 2 - Scamming

• A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe.
• Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion.

Clause 2.2 - Attempted Scamming

• Users cannot attempt to scam other users. If enough evidence is provided and the staff believe a scam was intended, this will result in a temporary ban against the offending user.
  • Attempted scamming includes misleading sales or auctions. For example an auction for 'a melon,sword'.

Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: A scam typically is when a transaction occurs and certain terms of the deal were not met, leading to temporary ban of an amount of days that directly corresponds to the severity of the scam.

Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned I got this Minecraft account I'd say a year and a half ago, Im not too sure. I really liked Minecraft but after like 4 or 5 months I started to dedicate a lot more time for my studies so I left Minecraft for a while. I lent my account to my cousin and I guess he got on one day and just got banned. Iv'e been informed he was loan scamming so I take full responsibility as I shouldn't have lent him my account. If I am let back on to the server I won't be scamming any community member at all considering that I enjoy playing on this server and wouldn't want to do something that would get me banned. I would love to come back to the server I do remember being rather fond of the way the economy system worked.
