am fairly new to the server and am looking for any tips on good ways to make some serious cash.. also does buying a plot in a town make you a resident or do you need to pay for a resident application and then a plot as well? any help would be much appreciated. cheers
If you're in the wild to start yourself off, build underground away from towns and world portals. This will help save you from griefing. If you're too far out, no one wants to travel to grief a few blocks usually. If you're building underground, they can't see it on the Live Map to go grief. Buy a few dozen pumpkin seeds to make a farm underground. Pumpkins grow quick, and can earn some decent cash at $2 to server a piece, and are very quick to cut down with an axe. May have to get someone to place water for you, but people who can do that are usually discreet enough to not spam your location or jerk enough to grief you themselves. Resident costs $15,000 EcoCityDollars (ECD), and a post in the application forum for it. Town plots cost whatever the town owners decide (anywhere from free to $10,000 or more, depending on who/where).
