Reason: I look through suggestion forums a lot and notice suggestions from months ago that get necro-ed because no one has ever confirmed it is a no or yes. Also as a person making a suggestion you hate having your suggestion left to disappear even if it has positive feedback because nothing is done, the it goes off first page and nothing is ever done. I try my best to lock the obvious no suggestions... But I don't wish to do it without andrew's permission... However, I believe GameAdmins should look at suggestions, and then tag andrew/wewinagain if it's a viable suggestion, and if not, then lock it... However, this may present complications because not all GameAdmins are 100% familiar with the servers hardware, plugins, etc. Great idea nevertheless.
For example: I have my Gold Ingots price suggestion that has had only positive by players and mods alike, but no action is taken to implementing or saying it will not be. There are many other suggestion that the same occurs. Some might actually be great ideas but could be forgotten about if they fall off the first page.
Saying that if there is extreme support then the chances are andrewkm will look at it. Like my suggestion on changing the LWC's back (although many other people would have made the same suggestion). Andrewkm answered the suggestion saying he would change them back for Mayors and Presidents.
Check my gold ingot post extreme support been there for a week with no reply. The replying to suggestion is very inconsistent and your lwc post was only answered because people were complaining loads.
I lock repeat suggestions and suggestions that will obviously never happen. Don't expect suggestions to go through immediately.
I am aware they are not done immediately but I am suggesting they are eventually locked and not just left to leave the first page and stay un-answered forever.
+1 I would live to know if the "pay to use doors" suggestions I made will just keep getting necro'd every few weeks, or is it never going to happen due to interaction problems with the various Server add-ons. "Kill it, or add it to a list" There's an idea. Have an Admin make a monthly list of the most favorable received suggestions. Make it a poll, then shedule an implementation for the most voted (or "at least 30 +1's") suggestions.
