I've made it! I've been a member of ECC for a year now (my official 1 year date is April 10, 2013). I never would have thought I'd have become so attached to a minecraft server such as ECC, but now I understand. ECC is more than just a minecraft server, it's a community! Not only have I learned more about myself here, but I've made some truly incredible friendships and have even met some amazing people in real life. Some of these people are friends who are now a part of my everyday life. One of whom I fell in love with and hope one day to be with. But everyone I have met thus far have made an impact in my life, whether small or big, and I truly want you all to know how grateful I am. The three most important figures in my ECC Life... AndrewkmI want to start off by thanking Andrew for providing this wonderful server and for being such an amazing admin and friend. Not only do you work long, hard hours on this server for everyone to be able to play on everyday, but you truly are a funny and amazing person and I am glad to have met you. I'm blessed to have been a part of your staff team, and to have been able to work on the graphics for Minecon 2013 to represent our awesome server! I cannot thank you enough. If you ever need any more assistance/design services from me, don't hesitate to ask me. I am always willing to help, especially for the growth and benefit of ECC. You are doing an amazing job, and I hope you continue this for many years to come! : D Tommy_T ❤Next is the person most dearest to my heart. Though he is no longer here with us anymore, I still keep in contact with him outside of ECC. My boyfriend and best friend, Tommy_T. When I first met you, it was the most bizarre experience. And yet the most memorable memory. I was so intimidated by you at first, but then we started talking and getting to know each other. Lol not gonna lie, your aussie accent and your personality was what made me fall in love with you. But getting to know you the past 8 months were some of my happiest.... Building with you, watching movies together on the weekend, and just listening to each other on skype while we did our separate things on ecc were the best... I wish you were still here to read this, but I know you're off doing greater things. You were my main inspiration on ECC to build, and as a new moderator, you helped me with building my personality and confidence to become a better staff member. But I will always treasure you most for the friendship and companionship that you provided for me. I hope we meet soon, so then we can start to make real memories together. I can honestly say I am one of the few people who know the silly and goofy man you really are. You are so adorable, and I miss you terribly. Come back soon, ECC is waiting... StolioliolioI won't argue - Stolio is my best friend on ECC. He's been there for me, through my own IRL panic attacks and stresses. Stolio, you are an amazing guy and you're always willing to help no matter the circumstance. You are one of the few ECC'ers that I have met in real life, and I am glad to have you in my life now. Honestly I had no idea we would become such great friends when we first met. I thought you were just a nub lol... Oh wait, you still are hehe... Just kidding, but being cereal here... You can make me smile even on days when I feel so unhappy. And the best part is you are always throwing money at me, giving me tools to use, and helping me build on ECC. I couldn't have asked for anything more. You are one of the few people I can call a real friend within and outside of ECC, and proof of why ECC is such an outstanding community and why it is more than just an online gaming server. Oh and also.... your eyes... are green. o_o And now a blast to the past, from the people I met earliest in the game to the newest peeps in my ECC life... origamimaster10 you were undoubtedly the first real friend I made on this server. Though we've had our ups and downs, I couldn't have made it this far without you. From being nub builders to presidents starting our own nation, we've been through a lot. I want to thank you for being there for me when I first started and helping me build my towns. Thank you. =] Ctoolme My favorite New Zealander! I met you shortly after Ori and I began on my mayor town of Kyoto. We hired you initially to place dirt, not knowing we'd cross paths again in the future and become good friends. You are one of the sweetest and silliest I've met, and I'm glad to have and awesome friend like you! And same for your brother Nutty_cole, you guys are so fun to be around and are always so helpful! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Nicodemux Although you are inactive now, I still keep in contact with you from time to time. Thank you for helping me start off when I was new to ECC. You provided tools, equipment, and a home for me when I had none. I want to take this time to thank you for all that you've done for me. I will never forget the kindness you showed to me and the friendship we made. You're the one who nudged me to apply for staff even when I didn't believe I would get chosen! Thank you for believing in me and for being there for me, I truly do appreciate it! eekelmo I wish you were active again, I miss messing around on ecc with you and just talking on skype about nonsense. When I saw your towns/builds and the effort and passion you guys put into creating them, it really inspired me to stay on the server and build my own towns. You are one of the weirdest but coolest persons I've ever had the chance to become friends with xD... and that's in a good way. WeirdBuilder I have only just started to get to know you, but we shared an amazing experience working together on the PVP build. Grats Annyonion on your one year anny-versary! when I was a builder, I was having a tough time looking for an erep since it was pretty late at night and I remember you giving me a free erep so I could continue mining. lol I remember the days...it was fun You always got me interested in something I never thought would interest me(I know, weird but eh, I'm me!), I remember the night we just curled up and listened to my horrible guitar playing, all the great moments we had were great and hopefully more to come in your next year on ecc <3
