So im pretty bored and I feel like that a anime discussion thread would be a nice change to my alert box. Generally this will be the place to discuss your favorite animes, characters, etc. For those of you that have watched too much anime for your own good, I suggest myanimelist so you can keep track of the animes you've watched. For example, phoenixproject15 has watched at least 60+ animes since the beginning of 2014. Some animes i've found myself attached to are of the following. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. This show has inspired many anime and manga writers as well as others. You guys know of the mcmmo ability Giga Drill breaker? Yea that came from this show. Its not confirmed but seeing as most developers i've talked to are anime fans, im highly convinced it came from this show. This show is about mechas (robots that people control from the inside for you non mecha fans). This show is about a little boy who has been forced underground all his life until him and his older "bro" bust out to see the open world. By far the best anime i've ever seen and have rewatched it at least 10+times. Clannad. Tear jerker... thats it. Sword art online. I mean, who doesn't like animes about video games? Amazing quality, amazing character development, and romance. God dang that romance. Just because i haven't tagged him enough, phoenixproject15 Let me hear your opinions on your favorite anime! Again im just really bored and nobody has made this thread yet.

Little Busters & Little Busters Refrain Clannad & Clannad After Story Sword-Art Online Fate/Stay Night & Fate/Zero & Fate/Zero Second Seasons Angel Beats Gosick I have alot more in my favorites but those ones are a must watch. 1 thing vengfulbacon should add is 'List your favorite genres'. Ill add mine in here to start. My most favorite genre is school/romance, don't ask why... I'm just a sucker for a good love story.Second favorite Ecchi/Harem, Kids shouldn't watch them 'cause they are rated R+. Third would be Mystery/Action, Gosick is a good example for these. Last I like Comedy/Shounen. I will watch most genres but the ones listed above are my favorite and most watched. Oh and a correction to vengs post... I've watched 80+ animes since Jan. 1st 2014 #NoLife.
it was an anime but...Everything changed when the fire nation attacked. phoenix considers it an anime without shadows. I just think its a good cartoon show ;p
First anime I ever watched is hellsing. Tommy recommended it to me a while back. (little did I know it was rated R+ phoenixproject15) So then I watched black butler, then attack on titan, and I am watching uraboku, hetalia, and bleach. (yes, I know, I have not watched a lot of anime) My all time favorite anime is hellsing, however my all time favorite character is Grell Sutcliff from black butler. <3 I am actually almost finished my Grell costume. I plan on cosplaying as him at an upcoming convention. SoftlyPsychotic I don't know what my favorite genera is called, but I like things really dark, twisted, and scary. I want it to make me cry.
First ever anime was Inuyasha, then sporadic episodes of Bleach, and ending with Naruto. Then this year, my friend got be into OHSHC (which I'm obsessed with and sad it's only 20 something episodes) and Black Butler (which officepwnz123 could cosplay as Ciel perfectly). Not watching any currently because I didn't pay for Netflix this month
SoftlyPsychotic you can finds lots of animes online if you just type "*anime title* episode 1 english sub/dub". Its how me and phoenix get around to watching anime without having to get netflix or crunchyroll. ;p
It's an oriental style American cartoon, so no, it's not anime. http://myanimelist.net/animelist/kukelekuuk00 It's far from a complete list of what I've watched, as I'm too lazy to add everything. There's some dark and gritty anime in that list... (Like Another, Hellsing, Monster, etc)
