Greetings, Quick question: When spawn was.... liberated... of a few structures, was Andrew's Vault in one of them? Was it destroyed? If it was not, then you can ignore the rest of this post. If it was, as I believe, then I am sure the 'secret' is of no consequence and can be answered. Was there a real combination to the vault? If there was, was it known? Was there anything in the vault? ever? I have heard that there was no real combination and the vault was empty. Thanks for any info you could provide to ease my curiosity.
The last I was there (many months ago), the buttons wer not locked. ... .... Or maybe they were and I just didn't realize it.
There was a real combo which I once learned, but forgot since I never used it, but the door was locked and didn't have a redstone flag on it so it wouldn't open anyhow.
Yes, When the vault was constructed by Burnsbrightly, I asked him for the code. When I tried it for the first time, the door magically opened, and all of it's loot became mine! At some point however, people decided to lock it..
When Andrewkm gave us all perms to the house, I disassembled the lock mechanism behind the keypad, and it looked like a legit circuit to me.
it was an actual lock. every moderator has known the combination whether or not they realized this fact. I opened it once and set a home in there. most of the chests I have no idea. however, one of the chests inside used to be publicly locked, and was like a hidden snipe chest. However, hearing this thread, am I to understand spawn got redone?
During the destruction Andrew said in global chat that he did intend to redo it. So far, however, nothing new has been added. Just a few things deleted.
He let us disassemble a few things before he deleted them (his house and several of the statues). Most of spawn is still there.
I have always been told that there is no real combination to andrew's vault, and I have had the honor of being tp'd inside the vault, and while there are diamonds and chests everywhere, you cant break any of the diamonds and all the chests are privately locked by Andrewkm.
I was in there once before andrew locked anything and it was brand new, basically you could get in by locking the iron door and letting yourself in, for a short while I even had a lock on one of the chests, but then andy came in and locked it all for himself
