I came up with this marvelous idea today. I've been a lot at spawn recently and I noticed some players have a hard time getting started. So why don't we, the more experienced players, help them to get started. This way the server gets more permanent players, instead of players that join once, don't know how to get started and subsequently start to spam "this server is rubbish". So that's why I came up with this idea. The name, Andrew's Little Helpers, speaks for itself. We kind of help Andrew in getting more players. So if you are willing to help new players, fill in the form below (spoiler) and help them. I'll add your name to the list just so people know you're there for them when they need you. And to all the players that think this is mini-modding, it's not. We don't tell new players how to behave, we just help them getting started. Yup, agreed. In my view this is a great idea, and in according with the rules. Here's the relevant section of the rules from the Wiki: Clause I.vii: Helping and Mini-modding We encourage the users of EcoCityCraft to help each other out whenever possible. However, we do not encourage mini-modding in any form. The difference between helping and mini-modding is that helping is usually answering questions and directing people, when a mod may not be available to help users with said problems. Mini-modding, however, happens when users start telling other users what to do in terms of behaviour on the server (ie. trying to boss users around, telling people what they can't do, etc.) While we appreciate the effort that users can put into trying to help the moderators out, we kindly ask that users refrain from mini-modding, and that excessive mini-modding could be punishable. So just stay within that, and I think this could turn out to be a great way to significantly help the ECC Community. Thanks!
