So, i have edited my suggestion to be that each genre of items like stone, wood, ores, all be sold in their own seperat non-spawn location. Will accomplish the sam thing, really. I assume this will be shot down too, but meh. I seems to me that the reason you(andrew) prevent mcmmo is because, for a hardcore eco server, its broken. Which is true.which also requires that we Be a hardcore eco server. Right now, the economy is farming, selling land, and mony dumping for blocks at spawn store. Aside from unobtainable in the spawn store items, like diamonds, there is little inter-user trade. By moving the items away from spawn, we prevent people from simply using the server store as often while keeping it alive. And keeping /spawn and /home.this will people willing to travel the distance to get to thesestores could open up smaller stores, in towns, where peoplecould buy things with convenience for a little extra money. Anyways, please feel free to shoot down or supportthis. Btw on a side note thanks for processing apps, got pres
Re: How to make the Economy an Economy I don't think this is a good idea. It will make it impossible for builders to get any money.
Re: How to make the Economy an Economy that would be a pain to do and if you want the economy more how about finding a stock market plug in that would be cool
Re: How to make the Economy an Economy I was reading ur post. All seemed good, i agreed in everything .. and suddentle OMG u talked about eleminating /spawn and /home.. i almost jumped of my chair xd
Re: How to make the Economy an Economy If /spawn and /home were gone, builders with no donation features that got stuck at spawn would never be able to play until someone tp'd them out. This would suck, lol.
Re: How to make the Economy an Economy ok, so seems that main problem is builders have no money to do anything to start out. then tart them out with $1000 or something. either way, the fact that people can teleport to the location of all goods for free is ridiculous. still want /spawn and /home? then move the store somewhere else. this would accomplish the same thing OR, make it even more like the real world. but each general block genre in a different location, say dirt and stone and cobble and grass ad the like in one area, wood in another, nether stuff in another area, water stuff somewhere else, and so on.
Re: How to make the Economy an Economy I can tell you if I didn't have /home and /spawn when I first joined, I would have moved on to the next server and not stuck around for more than 10 minutes. I think this is a terrible idea.
