Minecraft Name: Jdawger Suggestion: Adding other temp ban time slots, like 12 hour, 24 hour, 48 hour Reason: I am going to use myself as an example: I have a midterm in like 5 hours and I need that time to focus on studying, but ECC is still calling me. I want to put in a temp ban, but I don't want to be off the server for three days when I really only need like a couple hours. Other Information: I'm sure there's a reason why three days is standard, but when I mentioned this in global, a staff member (think it was US2) said to make a suggestion, so I don't see an issue with this. Things like this have been suggested and denied for the simple reason if you can not handle yourself that's not the servers problem suprised we even do temp bans on request never heard of a server doing that. -1
You actually need a ban to focus on your work? Ever consider just not playing? The server shouldn't need to accommodate you for your inability to have self-control. Anyways the reason it's 3 days is because people would get voluntarily banned and would then request an unban like 10 hours later. It should stay this way.
I suggest just playing ecc, your mid-term is only worth a few marks anyways and it’s more important to boost that vmr score up during those hours
So many times jwp I also have always advocated that it should only be a seven day temp ban so that the players that request these learn better self control.
