Minecraft Name: @purplelegoender Suggestion: I am suggesting the idea to allow party leaders to have access of the command /party Alliance whilst in the Survival Games arena's. Reason: This would be a good addition because it makes no sense to have it disabled while in Survival Games arenas. It would help so that the team leaders know who is alliances with them while in the games so they don't accidentally kill the other team members. I've done this several times and didn't realize a certain user was in the alliances team and accidentally killed them because I could not do the command /party alliance. This would help a lot on Party leaders sides if we can have access to the command in Survival Games. Other Information: I would just like to see this added so it will make it easier for other users who are in party teams in Survival Games so that they realize who is alliances with them. Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: A link to the plug-in you are suggesting, if applicable.
I mean yes, but there is the workaround of just asking in party chat if there are alliance members in the game. I'm neutral.
If that is true, then wouldn't it be logical to just remove the [/party] command whilst in Survival Games?
No, because you use /party to chat. Honestly, this is a command for leaders; the best way to check if any of your alliance members are in the game is to just ask...or even do /party alliance before you go into the game. But I mean...there is option 3: remembering your allies (via paper or memory or otherwise). That works too.
I'd just prefer to do the command, it makes things easier and its [/p] to talk in party. [/party] shows the members in your team while in the Survival Games match or any of the worlds, so it would nice to be able to use [./party alliance] while in one of the arenas.
+1 and I also think that the members of the party should be able to do the command too because they members currently can't do it and only the leaders of the alliances can do it.
+1. People that say you could just do it before, remember, or whatever, are just making dumb excuses. I can't think of reasons why not to do this. I mean to me it seems so simple and useful for lots of people including myself.
Devs have 100 more useful things to work in rather than a command that you can basically use right before the sg. This is just basically a petty command that I feel only you really need to use and you are the only one who seems to complaint about it thus having like 2 replies here. It can't be that hard remembering the other 6 people you team with in sg, especially when games are like 10 players max? Don't make a shitty suggestion for a command you basically only need to use and make the devs spend more time on this instead of using other methods as gobliz has suggested, get a pen and paper, use your brain, google docs.
Yes, they do. I made this suggestion because users who are not the 'Party Leader' cannot view who is alliances with them regardless of which world they may be in. This suggestion would not be for personal use, but for users while in the Survival Games to see who is in the match with them, I realize you can use /list, but still, that can show the amount of users in the game, and the people who are in your party/alliance. It would be good to be able to use this to be quick, you cant write down who is alliances with you all the time to be honest, plus, how would you write it down if you don't even know? Makes a lot of sense doesn't it? I still stand upon my suggestion and believe it to be useful for all of the worlds. As a add on to my original suggestion, users who aren't the party leader, should be able to use '/Party Alliance' so that they can be informed of who is along side with them and who is not. ~Purplelegoender
