could people please post links to good mods/resource packs/ mini-maps/ whatever that is legal on ECC? Thnx! -Miner
I used the R3DCRAFT resource pack, and have spoken to a number of other people who also prefer it to any other. Here's the link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...-r3dcraft-default-realismsmooth-realism-v011/ I recommend you use "MagicLauncher" with it. You don't really need any other mods or special things, although if you want to use a minimap, "Rei's minimap" is currently legal because it doesn't have any illegal features at this time.
Mods: - Rei's Minimap - Optifine - Better Sprinting - Capes mod - Armor status - Potion status Texture Packs: - R3D craft - Sphax purebd craft - Faithful -
Oh yeah, you need optifine to make a high resolution texture pack (like R3dCraft) work well. It is a mod the changes the way the game's graphics are loaded and rendered.
Ok. I have looked all over the internet, and cannot find the downloads. If some1 could give me a link, i could install them no problem, just need links. Idk y, but i can NEVER find stuff on the internet.
Rei's minimap http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/482147-162-jul08-reis-minimap-v34-01/ Optifine http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...b4-fps-boost-hd-textures-aa-af-and-much-more/ Magic Launcher http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/939149-launcher-magic-launcher-117-mods-options-profiles-news/ R3DCraft (resource pack) http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...-r3dcraft-default-realismsmooth-realism-v011/ Basically, always try to get your minecraft downloads from the official thread on minecraftforum.net There is always ONE official thread per mod or resource pack. Hope that helps!
Ok, what is the best size to download for the texture pack, as in pixels, or is it something else. As you can tell... Im not a computer genius.
For the size of texture you should download, it depends on how powerful your computer is. Try the 32 or 64 or 128, whichever your computer can handle ok. If the 128x works with no problem you might try the 256. But I think the 512 is overkill. Personally, I use the 256.
