In Game Name: RealCookichuWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: See your /nick name with the &partsWhat are you suggesting: I am suggesting that we should get a command to see our nick. So if your name is colorful, you can execute the command and it shows you your name, with every part and not just the name itself. To example: If you name is NoTouchLava, the command shows &4N&4o&cT&do&eu&ac&bh&cL&6a&cv&6a .Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: I think it´s good to get the 'template' of your nick. If you play on multiple servers and change your nick, you´d have to type it everytime and perhabs you forget the template for a nick. With the command you can´t forget it.Other information: Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
-1, I just dont see the need when you have multiple options with nickname, For one, you can just type in your nick on one server, and then go to all other servers and hit the up arrow to get back there. Second, there are so many Minecraft Color formatting websites out there that do everything for you so you just have to copy/paste things. Or lastly, just put it in a text/note document. This just seems like unnecessary work on a developer, for something we can do in a matter of seconds.
-1 there is only a 5 minute cooldown. Just change it later. Or worst case, test it in /ch l (since typically most players who have Nick+ have access to colored chat)
https://mctools.org/motd-creator Basically what Pab said, this site is the one I use and it is great. Another alternative would be if you use the same nickname most of the time, save the command on a notepad somewhere so that you don't have to type it out every time, this is what I do in my personal discord server: I don't really see a point of spending time developing this suggestion when there are alternatives that work just as well, if not better.
-1 This was suggested before by Karin, as others have said, that website above is great for nicknames and ads. You can also test in local chat as well if needed.
