This means it is faster to hoe sculk (more xp, faster) with a cheap diamond hoe than with a level 3 magic pick. In fact initial tests confirm that at a price of 1000 per netherstar i was able to mine 35k/hr in netherstar xp. With speed and flying this went over 50k. I think this should be rebalanced so sculk is difficult to mine unless you have high efficiency magic tools. Once you get fly, sethome etc finding these caves and popping between them to avoid wardens feels too easy.Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
Honestly I like how it is, just reading your post. 35k per hour really isn't an absolute ton, but the fact it can be done with starter tools instead of having to spend millions on expensive magic tools (that will make more than 35k per hour) makes this accessible for new players. -1 leave this how it is.
This plus the fact that sculk materials is limited to just the area they spawn in means it can't be heavily abused. It takes enough time after finding a deep dark area to find another one and I've yet to see someone produce a farm that would be considered too overpowered.
