Denied [All Main Servers Suggestion] Remove sales from EXP/ECD in the store.

+1 little things like this will keep the economy under control. Please listen to us players.

 

+1 Completely agree, with EXP being so easily attainable I wont even sell feats. No reason to, when i can just buy EXP and make x3 the amount of ECD.

+1 I do not care about ECD having coupon codes used on them. You would still receive a better ratio selling to a user compared to buying it through the store. I do believe that a user should not be able to buy two sets of 480,000 EXP to get a Star Tool now that they have dropped from 2200 to 1500. That just sounds like a disaster waiting like Star Keys being in the store once.

So hear me out... While i don't fully agree with the discounts not working on EXP/ECD sales, i do think that there should be kept a closer eye on the prices of these sales, seeing as i haven't seen them changed ONCE in the history of me playing here, and that is including when the ECC 1.0 hyper-inflation thing happened. People were making millions a day, and 400k was still ~100 USD.

I don't think EXP/ECD sales should be exempt from discount codes, but i DO think that the prices should be raised (significantly) to reflect the current ECD/USD rate of the server, and the general ease of access to money on the server.
I'm not sure how something like this would be implemented, and i do think there needs to be a solution to this problem, but i'm fairly certain this isn't it.

 

I agree with @Volvith here, the effect that disallowing coupons would have on the player economy is desirable, but disallowing the use of coupons isn't the only way to get there. There is something to be said about the inconsistency of allowing coupons only if a purchase fits into a certain category. Perhaps changing store prices would be a better way to go about this.

 

ECD/EXP should have never been part of coupons.
My coupons were set wrong, rip. Fixed now.

PS: The sale is only 10% on the store, so that one I'll leave as is.

 

EcoDollars / EXP has been added back to coupons, our decision to keep them out has been rolled back.
After receiving quite a few PMs and checking our sale numbers, purchase interest is simply far too high to remove it.
