I agree completely. I feel like this is a reverse issue of when we tried to fix my rank to look right and I looked more player than staff. Now we have players who look more staff than player. Red is universally a staff color across Minecraft. Adding that as a literal rank color has created a lot of confusion. Let them pick any non staff color. Hell, they are pink on the Discord. Pink is only used by SG, let them have a mix of like pink and purple or whatever. Just... please not staff colors. +1

I agree, having non-staff with staff colors does confuse a lot of people because you don't really know who is who. There are plenty of other colors or color combinations that the higher donation ranks can use.

+1 I agree for sure! color has the ability to set apart one rank from another and can be used as a signifier if theres a different color for each rank. Id go further and say we should give different colors besides the gold color for ecoleader, ecomaster, and ecolegend so that theres some other embodied incentive of ascension past President both in chat and on the tab list. Otherwise great suggestion!

 

Before we get into this, yes I have one of these ranks and I plan on having andrew change benefactor to mod blue with light blue $ signs.

These changes have only been active for less than 48 hours, and I have yet to see any new players get confused about the change. The only thing I’ve seen is an uprise in player attention for a rank that someone donated $50,000 USD to create/obtain. Let @MinecraftParkerH choose his rank color, he put the money in for it. EcoLegend uses mod blue color and there has never been an issue brought up about it.

As for the supposed confusion with colors with the rank, the base color for the rank is still sponsor blue, hence the brackets in the rank are blue and it still shows the player’s name as blue in tab. The only time you see the “mod” colors in the rank is when they chat and the rank doesn’t mention anything about being a Moderator or Admin so I don’t see the problem here.

-1 As long as it isn't fully staff colours, I see no issue. The new rank seems to have Sponsor Blue in it still and is different enough.

Plus, if someone takes an extra second to actually see the rank name and not colours (like most people seem to do), then there is no issue

 

If the rank shows up as &4 or &c in tab, then I can see that being a problem. If this is not the case then I see no problem with the current color code.

anyways im a +1 for this suggestion, however believe that the people with the rank should voice their opinions on it a lil more.
