In Game Name: MagicwareWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Mythic sword priceWhat are you suggesting: increasing mythic price to at least $50,000,000 ECDWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: As all rank prices have doubled in price, let’s double the mythic sword starting price to $50 Mill and $10 Mill each time it’s bought within the 30-day period.Other information: As we don’t have many ways of getting rid of money, especially with raffle and cf not being able to tax people I think this could be good for the economy.Plugin or custom addition: N/AOne suggestion per form: I Understand.
This will simply encourage people to sit on upwards of 50m cash, more dead-weighted cash floating around in the economy while people wait to purchase it. I'm all for removing money from the economy but I don't see this being the solution. The super-rich players control most of the money already, and this does not even effect them. Higher and more frequent taxes are a better solution. -1
although I wouldn't mind seeing the price being raised on mythic, i don't think 50m is the right base price. I think it'd be better if instead of +5m for each purchase, it's +10m. A a price tag of 50m for essentially the #1 tool in the game that most players aim for when prices have been nerfed 2-3 times and most basic money making methods (Fishing, melon farming, wheat farming) make 70k-100k per hour is too high. I'm all for the economic grind, but the current price tag of Mythic Sword is just fine tbh. It's not like new people are purchasing it anyways, its the people who already have one who purchase at 25m to sell at 30m. -1 to raise mythic price +1 to raise taxes or take them more often
I was honestly JUST saying in game I think mythic should go up to 50m lol An L3 Rod is easily 7.5m right now. One tool being almost 1/3 of a mythic price seems too low when you can turn it into any of the magic tools.
Just to put info in for prices, I tested last night and a melon sword makes about 150k, spawner setup 120k, and fishing 90k per hour. (With max magic tools, but not max prestiges for spawner setup.)
Respectfully fishing does not make 90k/hour. maybe for you depending on your fishing level and maybe spuz’s special price for you. for us regulars its 75-80. & melon farming is nowhere near 150k. taking into account the time it takes to put your items in PV or go to a prestige shop and sell, again, for us regulars make way less. Once again, us regulars do not have access to 50+ spawners each month to setup a setup and use, and once again sell everything at higher prices.
My fishing level is over 1k, but I sell to the same chests as everyone else price wise. Fishing varies heavily based on rng though. Melon farming, I setup a macro for /back and used spuz's shop (the same chests as everyone else) I did however have access to an 800 long farm. And for spawners you're not wrong, but I buy them off other users. I /sell hand everything though, at the time I had a 21% multiplier. But I have 0 spawners myself. I was just testing for some other ppl who were curious, but I honestly don't have as many advantages as one might think haha
Can confirm dip doesn't get any special chests at warp spuz. As for pricing of mythic, normally when price drops people buy it from 25m-45m then it sits at 45m till it drops back to 25m So changing base price to 50m seems like a spoon brain moment. I think base price 30m maybe, then 10m added after that would be a fine compromise to this suggestion
Doubling the base price won't actually fix anything - the mythic sword has to be actually bought to remove ECD from the economy. If its too expensive then no one will buy it and that defeats the idea of using it to remove ECD - it has to be achievable. As it is, not too many of the players cannot afford to buy one past the base price on a regular basis - those that do, *boom* buy it and poof goes ECD. Keeping it achievable as so it serves its purpose is also why I am also not going to increase the price increment at this time. We'll keep it as is for the time being. We will likely revisit this in the future if needed.
