In Game Name: ArhinmanWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: All Main ServersShort title for your suggestion: Make owned tools undropableWhat are you suggesting: Make impossible to drop tools that are /own by whoeverWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: Dropping a tool not on purpose is a dumb mistake, but it can happen. Now with the nethers being successful, this mistake can be fateful. Making all /own tools undroppable would eliminate a risk for everybody. Also, I don't think many people drop on purpose their owned tools (like, when trading star / God / magic / ecc tools most people use / trade or chests, but don't just drop them on the floor), so it won't change anything. And if people use to drop their owned tool to get rid of them (weird they /own it btw), they can just / disposal it. To keep it short, making owned tools undroppable will just eliminate the little risk of dropping it, especially on lava or anywhere.Other information: The lb tool (ice) can't be dropped (" You cannot drop this tool"). If it's possible, do the same with /own tools If it is too complicated to make it, no problem, the point was to remove a source of risk.Plugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
Most people generally just unbind the drop key, by selecting it in your "Controls" and pressing "Esc". For that reason, I don't think adding this as a feature is necessary, though it is a good suggestion.
Builders and people without ereps need to drop to get an erep. However there is some plugin on this one server that allows you to enable to make you have to press q twice to drop. So it lets you drop items like blocks and stuff easily but it detects the most important things in your inventory like tools and armor and you almost have to confirm the drop by pressing q twice
Nobody should drop anything to get an erep, ereps dont even need to be near each other. that is what /trade is for.
+1/-1 (mixed bag) I like this concept of making owned items undroppable, but I feel like it cannot act as a substitute for responsibility for ones actions.
Ngl, I think we need to stop putting in protections to stop item loss. Item loss is a healthy part of the economy. -1
While I can sympathize with and understand the motivation behind this suggestion, I’m going to -1 just because of how easy it is to fix this on the user side, unbinding the drop key is a great idea
I literally agree with this 100%. Not only that, but ... dropping items is a part of the game, why would I block it for owned items. That will just be more annoying than needed. If you drop an owned item and fuck up and lose it, it's your own fault and should teach you to manage your items better in the future.
